drx did not loose a single match in stage 1 but lost aganist prx, geng(which they defeated before) and got eliminated
@nikhilt3755 it is what it is tho it is impossible to do double elimination for the first match of playoffs because there's only 6 team. So it's just unfortunate
@@nikhilt3755You're really comparing DRX to C9? C9 has only ever relied on one player to carry them through the stage. If Oxy doesn't show up, the team loses. For a team this heavily relying on a single player, they don't deserve anything more. They would not have beaten Lev or 100T in their dreams because the overall teams are still better.
@@speedforce8970saying that if oxy doesn't show up c9 will lose is a fair point but isn't it an expectation for your Duelist to go frag out?

How does Cloud9 manage being good a whole season and then messing up when it matters EVERY SINGLE TIME? At this point, one can just expect it.
APAC seems to be the most consistent region. Everywhere else is in chaos and I predict the americas will come out on top
The only consistent team in APAC is PRX, the rest are pretty shaky this year (Gen G losing to RRQ is unheard of)
PRX managed to stay consistent because they basically winged every match making its hard to counter-strat them. NA are hit the worse with their giants getting toppled one by one. EMEA still need to be seen but the competition there is actually the hardest given that the gap between weakest and strongest team is pretty small, however most of the team that made it to playoff actually made it to last year championship so in a sense it's normal.
Now that I put this way APAC is pretty crazy for birthing team like PRX and Gen G. I mean given that the average quality of team there is pretty low they done absurdly good job to secure the 2nd and 3rd podium consistently. Like have you seen Talon and T1? that's not a VCT that's a live massacre. Logically speaking a tighter competition like EMEA should've made their team stronger.

@@timmynotjerry RRQ and T1 is not so different, both shouldn't have go to Shanghai. DRX should've made it to Shanghai but DRX got very veery unlucky. Like if they went against T1 instead of PRX they would've made it to the final, and for some absurd reason Gen G who underperform so bad this season that they lose to RRQ and T1 suddenly woke up mid match against them into prime Gen G on lower bracket. Alternatively were Gen G won against T1(Which normally would've been the case) and sent them to lower bracket DRX would easily clean them and took the third seat.
Seriously it's as if the entire universe tried to screw DRX during playoff stage.

I always find vanity not a good player. I just don’t get why teams are still picking him when there are a lot of good and useful players than him. Yes, he pops off but only for a very limited time.
