Thank you so much, Mark! I am in Eastern Washington, so I have to envy those in Western Washington where Anna's hummingbirds stick around for the winter. Spotted Towhees and Varied Thrush are always celebrated in the winter here.
@@MarksBackyardBirds hi again im housebound granny, love the videos , i have 3 pet mice with me 24/7 in big rodent house with toys , they wake me up ar 4 am playing ond their wheel, i love um
Thanks! Great video! I live in Davis county in Utah. Davis County extends from the top of the Rocky mountains to the middle of the great Salt Lake. This all includes salt water, freshwater, arid desert, marsh land, high desert, forest, plains, sagebrush plains, mountain forest, etc etc. So if a map says, for example, that I am in a breeding range of a particular bird, I have no idea if it really is. (Northern Flicker, for example)
Thank you. Beautiful birds
Thanks! Nice to see our area birds covered.

I was blessed to have a Varied Thrush here in the UP of Michigan for three days in the late fall last year. Beautiful bird.
@@coldspring624 we had one in Kansas City during a snowstorm a few years back. It was loving the heated birdbath.

@@BBRubyT That is so true for range maps as a whole. Habitat selection is so important for many species. It can take a long time to learn these needs.
