Thanks for this - the scroll wheel on mine had stopped working (it still physically turned, it just very rarely registered anything). I've had the mouse for a few years, and apparently enough dust and stuff had built up that it blocked the light sensor by which the scroll wheel worked. Your video helped me get it disassembled, cleaned, and put back together, functioning like new again.

Way to much for me to do. I decided to cup mouth around the wheel and blew as hard as I could. Bam: that worked on my squeaky wheel. Thanks for your work on this video.

👍👍Thank you so much for this video, just what I needed and just in time judging from date of up-load🙂.

If your problem is that your mouse scroll wheel is not working when scrolling the wheel, chances are you just need to blast the hole where the wheel is on the top, with high pressure air and a big lump of fluff will come out, and your mouse is 100% fixed again

Thank you for this guide. I'm having issues with my wheel, so I will try this out soon!

in my case no, but since that uses replaceable batteries, it depends on if batteries were put in or not.
