After 10 years away from the lake I return to see if any carp are left?? have otters taken all the fish in this lake? We will see....

Yeh they are ,killing all sizes ,,I had a little pond put 40 small carp in and within a week all eaten 😢

The havoc that the otters have caused in the last 10 + years is absolutely awful, it’s criminal the damage that they’ve done tbh, sone of the country’s most beautiful old strain carp have been just decimated, sone of the country’s biggest barbel too have fallen victim.
I found my first ever 20lb’er dead on the bank and in the following months another 2 or 3 of my first 20lb mirrors that I caught plus literally dozens upon dozens of doubles from the same venue, it was absolutely brutal to experience to be honest.

Nice looking water mate ,the otters will have a few but they don’t get as many as people think ,don’t get me wrong not a good sign to see them but the water ways in the uk are over a huge area
