Seceda & Pieralongia - panoramic circular hike with many refreshment stops | Dolomites 4K

Wonderful circular tour in Val Gardena to the Seceda and Pieralongia
The Seceda is relatively easy to reach via the gondola from Ortisei, but it is also worth starting with the Col Raiser lift in Santa Cristina and taking a panoramic circular hike across the beautiful meadows below the Fermeda peaks.
From the mountain station, you pass various huts on the way up to the Seceda, where you will cover the most altitude meters of the tour. There are various places to stop for refreshments along the way, such as the Daniel hut or the Sofie hut, from all of which you can enjoy a wonderful view. Finally, from the Seceda you have one of the most famous views of the Dolomites to the Fermeda and Odle peaks, the path here is well developed and there are several viewpoints. However, there is also a lot going on here.
We then continue slightly downhill towards Pieralongia, the two large sloping boulders can be seen from afar. Shortly before we reach Malga Pieralongia, this beautiful little hut is also worth a stop.
Afterwards, you can even climb up one of the Pieralongia rocks.
However, you should be aware that this is a very steep, narrow path across the grassy slope, so you should be absolutely sure-footed and have a head for heights. Once at the top, it is also important not to allow yourself a misstep, as there is a risk of falling.
Otherwise, the rest of the route often leads us downhill along narrow paths and finally it is worth making a detour to the Regensburger Hütte, where you can also eat and spend the night.
A short, slightly ascending path takes us back to the mountain station.

Ach cool! Ich hab letztes Jahr beides gemacht, einmal auf den Sass Rigais rauf, auch eine richtig schöne Tour. Und dann die Seceda mit der Pieralongia kombiniert, fand ich dann doch schöner als nur den Hotspot zu besuchen 🙂

@@JuliaMrozek Wir sind vom Tal aus über die Seceda zur Regensburger hütte. In den Tagen darauf dann über Puez, Grödner Joch weiter durch die Sella auf den Cima Piscaidu und Piz Boe. Bei uns gibts dazu jetzt auch ein paar Videos :)
