As a construction worker I can tell you the hammer fist is completely useless. You dont have the inertia and are mentally blocked to hit a nail hard with your fist. Useless junk.
Unless you've been doing martial arts for 20 years and have developed a good hammer fist attack already, this is indeed useless lol. Great for us martial artists tho 🤣
Mystery Tech never fails to show the most straight up random stuff. I mean considering that he showed a brass nuckle hammer thing on a tech channel shows it all.
Hammer fist looks like it would be good as a pair of brass knuckles depending on their weight. Probably their intended use too because they’re illegal in some places and this would get around those laws
The mic sounded slightly better than the stuff Dank tests out. Not sure what Austin was on about them sounding crisp, that was some of the most ass I've heard coming out of a headset in a while.
Imagine you start the nail with your cool hammerfist. On the 4th or 5th hit you are slightly off and hit the wood so the head of the nail goes into your pinky finger. Suddenly at that moment you realize one of the many reasons why hammer's have a handle.
Austin, When testing earbuds please do a microphone test. My wife and I have noticed that the lower cost wireless earbuds seem to have very poor quality microphones that make it almost impossible to understand what the person that is wearing them are saying. Thanks a bunch.
I think the CMF watch is one of the best deals in tech history. It looks good and modern and not super cheap, it's affordable, and it's actually quality.
I'm not surprised the Drop+ EPOS headset was good. I decided on the H3PRO Hybrid headset last year, getting it on sale for about $165 USD (converted from CAD) and they have been absolutely awesome.
A little late here for Thanksgiving messages but thanks Austin & team for all the laughs and fun along the way - I ALWAYS know I'm in for a great time when a new video drops 😊 💯

What better options are there than the Retron 5? I got mine for $150 at a v-stock, you can plug in the OG controllers on the side, too. I really liked that about it. I’m genuinely asking what else is out there, because as far as multi-console compatibility, this was the best thing I could find..
Retron is like the red headed step child to “reviewers”. It’s perfect for regular Joe’s for the reasons you stated. They only want to be about the emulators & jailbreak custom mods. Which are cool, but if you just want what Retron offered & move on, that should be fine too.
In 2016 the RetroFreak made the Retron 5 obsolete . It has the addition of a Turbografx16/PC Engine slot and optional adapters that allow it to play Hucards and carts from NES/Famicom , SNES/Super Famicom , Genesis/Mega Drive , Turbografx16/PC Engine/PC Engine SuperGrafix , Gameboy , Gameboy Color , Gameboy Advance , Game Gear , Master System (cart & card) , Sega Mark III (my card) , Sega SG-1000 (my card) . It has USB ports for controllers as well as a 5-port controller adapter for original NES , Famicom , SNES/Super Famicom , Genesis/Mega Drive , PC Engine/Turbo Duo controllers . And without modification will allow you to rip a back-up copy of your game to the MicroSD card or simply play your ROMs onboard . I owned both a Retron5 and a RetroFreak for a time and ended up giving the Retron5 away .
For somebody who is supposedly into tech, I find it interesting that they've never heard of the Retron devices. They've been out for a long, long time and are fairly popular.
Agreed, and they are really good options to play older games if you do not have access to the consoles or don't want to mod or buys expensive equipment to use them on modern displays.
The fact that Austin is knee deep in tech and has never heard of the Genki Shadow Dock shocked the ever loving hell out of me. That was talked about on damn near every gaming channel and publication.
About the smartwatch , I can tell you that specific kind of magnetic charge cable is a fire hazard . I have one that uses that exact cable and since it's magnetic , it really doesn't care what it sticks to and if there is anything near that it can stick to it'll short the contacts causing the cable to get extremely hot and possibly cause a fire .
Honestly, as someone who has a proper PC set up. Those headsets are costly but easy to set up. You can get a solid headphone for 50 and mic for 100, then won't have that boom that can break.
Ive been using the CMF watch pro for like a month now, and I dig it. I didnt really want an Apple Watch, too me it had too much functionality. I really didnt want a second screen to stare at. I just wanted a watch that did the basics, like health monitoring and notifications. Im a bigger dude so the size doesnt bother me much. For me, it was a great investment.
You'd better unplug the charge cable when not charging because they will short out if it latches on to another piece of metal and the cable can melt down and catch fire . And believe me , they will magnetically latch on to anything possible . It's a terrible and dangerous design . Most Chinese watches in that price range use an updated and better charge cable that is basically a copy of the Apple watch cable and charge system .
There are some 3rd party handheld emulation devices that can be found on online marketplaces like Amazon, Wish, Temu, Alibaba, etc., some are good, some... not so much. You can also save some money and DIY build yourself your own home gaming emulation station with a singleboard computer like a Raspberry Pi 3/4/5 that's running RetroPie. If simulators are an option, there are products like the Mister FPGA that can simulate the hardware of an older 80s or 90s console, though I haven't checked in a few years if the Mister is in stock or not. Edit: Oh, devices that are similar to the Retron 5 where you can insert game cartridges? I don't know of any alternatives...
Got the pc38x months ago and are just pure insane, prob best headset i ever used in my life, and i got em for like 100$ and the cost for delivery in romania was like 25$
Hybrid ANC means a mix outside to hear noise, plus one inside to hear if it’s working properly and further tune the results. It’s supposed to be a better system, not a “light” one.
I think it makes sense the hammer fist for when you’re hanging pictures up at your house but other than that construction site no it doesn’t make sense. It looks like it’s more of around the house tool than it is a tool for construction being able to pull out nails, would be kind of cool also, if you have thief in your house you can just punch in the face like brass knuckles. Then when you knocked out the intruder out you could say you got hammered or you just got nailed or something cheesy like that lol 😂
I bought that EPOS headset coming from a Sennheiser GameOne and they were great but my ears were too close to the drivers and had to return them. Just a warning for anyone interested , but sound quality and mic were great.
Was curious so looked into it, it is the first result for disability friendly hammer, but per at an article of disability friendly tools, they suggest a "gripping Aid" for holding hammers -- basically velcros the hammer or other tools to the hand (so more versatile also) that seems safer, the hammer fist doesn't look safe if the person misses hitting the nail and the nail hits the hand.
"It's doing a little bit of a weird upscale because it's actually full screen here." Bruh you want your games stretched to widescreen? I'd be mad if it did that LOL

the hammer fist is an interesting way to disguise some brass knuckles in states where they are illegal.

My vote goes to the RetroFreak . It'll do anything the Retron will do and then some .
Epos (if it's the same company) also makes speakers. If you turn the covers on some of the models upside down, the logo reads 'soda'.
Goes wonderfully with my snsv laptop!
