TROPHIES STACK!? Holy moly greenskins are even stronger than i thought.
Right!!! I usually just get the Biggiest Stunties trophie and just sit on a waaaaagh until I needed it.

It's a bug! Not intended at all. There's a "_level" missing in the script which makes it so effect bundles doesn't go away when swapping waaagh target. It's cool no doubt but not intended
@@flosko Although this is almost certainly a bug, it seems like a very positive one for two main reasons. The first is that many players will get the trophy the want, then stop using the Waaagh. This is obviously bad, you want players to use their main faction mechanic and this fixes that issue. The second is that it give the player something else to do. This simply encourages people to keep playing the game, which is exactly what you want.
Just a shame I didn't know about this in my Wurrzag campaign otherwise I would have kept playing and finally conquered the world.

Just to confirm, if you win a small trophy and then get a bigger one later, the previous trophy is replaced and does not stack. I haven’t tried it the other way around.
So trophies only stack if they are from different races? I can only have 1 trophy of each faction?

From a programming perspective, maybe it's a bug. I'm not sure if CA has acknowledged this as such yet, but regardless I think (from a game design perspective) that they SHOULD stack. Imrik gets to collect his dragons, why can't green skins have a trophy room?

@@puhpuh3037 I think it's intended. It's a genius implementation to incentivize more than a single Waaagh now. Their previous system allowed you to circumvent the massive slow down from using a Waaagh so you wouldn't lose your rate of progression but there was still no reason to keep using them after getting the trophy you wanted. Now they nerfed the lords commanding the armies(so you're forced to suffer slow down and big progress loss) but now in exchange, you get a return on your investment so it's actually a proper trade off.
They get the berserk from the Grom food mechanic

Damn I always thought this was so frustrating that trophies didn't stack. So didn't launched waagh even if i wanted to just because I had the lizardmen trophy

@@sisyr5615 It's the only thing incentivizing anyone to use Waaaghs after their first one so I don't know if they would patch it out. Because it's coincidentally so genius, I would think it's actually intended.

They were always stacking. Most people didn’t realize they did.
@@blurgalsklech2929 Probably because most people dont launch Waaagh against the same race twice... given most people play about 50 turn campaigns.
I didn't know that various versions of the same trophies could stack I always thought they replaced each other regardless which version when you finish WAAGH as stated on the wiki page:
"You can only have one trophy at a time so when you successfully complete another Call to Waaagh! the new trophy replaces the current trophy."

It's a bug trophies shouldn't stack. They'll remove it in the next patch because CA watches Legend's videos and nerfs the cheese.

But as far as I know, the new trophy will replace the old one and can not be stacked

No the new trophy doesn’t replace the old one. Once you collect a trophy you have it for the rest of the campaign. You collect all the trophies and their benefits are always in effect whether it’s the face trophy on the mechanics bar or now.
You sure? Someone said they tested it with a big trophy and it got replaced with the biggest trophy. Though they havent tested it with with the biggest trophy and going to a big trophy @blurgalsklech2929

lol I remember the headless immortals. That was something else. Get the decapitate animation, then just eeeh whatever and keep fighting.
Did they break trophies in the update? Don't think they are supposed to stack, but that does make orcs way more fun so you don't loose a good trophy buff bc you targeted another race with a weaker buff afterwards

need to start a doomstack vs doomstack tournament. like 32 doomstacks are faced against eachother and in the end, a true doomstack is declared.
The fire resistance and Berserk are coming from Grom's Cauldron.
I have wanted something like this for a long time, just didn't know this was a bug. I am going to try this out in a skarnsik campaign soon.
in wh3 i barely ever used waagh because 1. you dont need it 2. you get massive bonuses while holding. but turns out throwing waagh left and right might be the way to go
you get 1 free army inside an army, for free.
You do lose your reputation bonuses.
@@oooeee5556true, but you lose your global bonuses AND your armies move way less far from what I know.
@@oooeee5556 The free army slows you down for a good few turns, it can be annoying when trying to catch underway or co (I have had the Waagh army intercept without main)

Damn, Black Orcs that have Troll level weapon strength, and Hero levels of armour, leadership, melee attack/defense, on all 80 entities? No wonder they went through enemies like a lawnmower through grass

itd be cool if you had like a trophy cabinet to show off each one you unlocked, only 1 at a time is kinda sucky when you want to use more waaghs but you already have the best trophy

It's likely a bug, the Norsca allegiance system is broken in WH3 too, you still gain points even after reaching level 3 and triggering the "endgame" (I'm unsure so far if this is just a tooltip error or whether I am losing the tier 3 rewards). I'm testing to see if its possible to unlock both champion lords this way. I'm also not sure what happens to my alliance with Archaon when I kill the final boss and reject him, does he auto declare war on me even though I can currently bribe him to be my vassal?
Here is an idea to celebrate 500k subscribers: show us the easiest or fastest way to 500k in the treasury or income in your game of choice (could also be Anno 1800 for example)

Thank you. I‘ve won a few Waaghs but don’t see the symbol in the abilities on the units. 😢 Is there maybe an additional requirement necessary? I just play on normal difficulty.

For anyone watching, this no longer works. Just tested today, the trophies get replaced.

Any of you greenskin mains have any recommendations on when to do a waaagh? I know it varies from campaign to campaign, but I always felt that I either using it too soon, or holding onto it for too long.
Hey, I am mastering Wurzag Mortal Empires campaign, I can tell you that your first Waaaaagh is the most important one (always decide the dwarfs, the 20% discount in construction is massive and the 20% weapon strength is so good with melee armies like trolls or even black orks).
This action will give you the edge to separate your armies (try to build at least 2 full stacks even if they are only goblins archers) and auto-resolve to save time in the siege of Karaz-a-Karak after you abuse ambush to deplete their forces. Last thing Waaaagh as soon as possible!!!
Later when you are big enough try and stack Trophies, my first recommendation is Tomb Kings (+ magic, loot & speed) or Lizards (+phisical resistance, unit/general recruit rank ); Ohhh I almost forgot, put generals as Waagh commanders so the campaign movement penalty is reduced by a lot.
With enough practice, you should be able to doom stack by turn 40+, because (for me) the most important lesson is to enjoy the manual resolve battles!!
It depends on who you're playing, I guess. With Skarsnik You can get the ability to call a waaagh when he has 2 full stacks, but I always put it off for a couple turns until I fill up a 3rd army just for the extra waagh army. I always put it on 8peaks. When the waagh armies armies fill out, I send 2 to take Karaz-a-karak, and 1 goes to Barak Varr. Then the 2 from Karaz-a-karak go to Black Crag. I use the army that took Barak Varr to hunt Wurzag and try to force a confed. Then everyone converges on 8 peaks. You can finish all of this in 12 turns or less if you take fights optimally and don't stop too much for replenishment. Even with some bad fights, it shouldn't take more than 16.
From there it can be played out in many different ways. Go north and find Azhagg, go east and find Grimgor, go west and kill Belagar and hope Grom is still alive, or just finish clearing out the badlands and mountains.

@@danielgloyd4529 Funny that you mention Skarsnik since he was the only greenskin I have played. I assumed that you needed to pick a faction simply based on their power level, and I assumed that you lost the trophies overtime & that they over wrote a previous one. I'll be firing up another campaign & give this a try. Especially seeing how much the trophies can buff up your units.
@@ZeriocTheTank Skarsnik is my favorite greenskin lord and one of my top 3 favorites in the game. I just like gobbo and squig spam. Even after I get 8 peaks, I still don't use orcs. Grom might have stronger goblins, but Skarsnik gets the full greentide experience with -40% upkeep.

Legend to compare them equally, you need to add 9 chevrons to custom battle black orcs. you compared 9 chevrons to 0 chevrons. (also they get additional bonus from red tree line)

Wait, trophies stack now ? Was that from an update ,or a bug ? Because I remember them being overwritten when a new WAAAGGGH ! Was finished, which was one of my biggest gripes with the greenskins.
Legend, how do you click and drag you entire formation like you did at the start of the fight, when you were closing the gap. I, for the life of me, can't figure out how to move units like that together, in formation, without locking them as a squad and etc.

Huh. I didn't even know Waagh trophies were a thing. I really need to play Greenskins at some point. :P
I bounced off them a few times until I played Wurrzag. The army he wants you to build is super fun and he’s a great lord to boot, so I’d recommend giving him a try - Grom is great too, but something about the greenskins just clicked when I played Wurrzag.
@Yourmomgoestocollege816 Sounds good, I appreciate the tips. :) I tried Grom very briefly in WH2 but it didn't end well lol. Haven't played Greenskins since. They're jot the only faction I've neglected, but they're one of the ones I've neglected most.

@@legionerer Preference definitely plays a part. For me, I didn’t really understand how greenskins (or other rush factions) worked until I had Wurrzag and a stack of juiced-to-the-gills savage orcs steamroll the early game in WH2. You can get something like that from any greenskin lord; it just all came together for me when I gave Wurrzag a shot so I’m pretty partial to him.
Plus, the slick dance moves - hard to hate an orc that groovy.

Honestly CA should "repair" thst bug in a way that we players get a trophy list to showcase which trophies we already get and at what strenght every unique currently is... so basically they would change nothing game-wise expect for players to see for themselfs what their new objective could be. Just like many ppl already said here we would be encouraged to use WAAAGH mechanic more than just "oh no I get best one, now I will never use this mechanic again to not replace best buff!" kind of stuff.
Maybe nerf those a bit... or maybe don't so we get propa reward for crushin tiny gits! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!
can someone explain why the whole rest of the enemy army just kinda suddenly lost all their leadership at the end? I'm new to total war games so the morale system is still a bit confusing at times
When game decides that battle result is already determined, it slaps the losing side with a gigantic morale debuff.
I feel like trophies should stack, you shouldn't be disincentivised to use your factions most fun ability. Even if they have to nerf the trophies a little for balance.

Seems like the Waagh Trophies Stacking was not a thing in WH2, so this is probably an oversight bug.
Still, seems weird AF that Greenskins would only have 1 WAAGH trophy at any time anyways, would make more sense to collect one from every race (git)

Didn't trophies used to expire? Without trophy expiration trophy stacking too powerful to make sense balancing wise. I hope this isn't yet another bug.

i like how the beastmen and the greenskins went from the worst factions in the game to one of the best in both fun and how strong they are .I just hope CA put more love into some of the old factions like bretonia they are terrible , with terrible tech that provides confederation with factions that are dead before turn 20 .Not to mention 90 % of their roster is useless .You can make full stack of RoR with the chaos factions while bretonia has 3 RoR 🤣
Bret is super strong they're just kinda boring because all they can do is recruit garbage infantry and god tier cav.
