    Thanks for the conparison. Same as others in this thread, I finally decided to get a cart to streamline load-in/out, and like most, started looking at the RnR. I never liked the way the uprights flare and appeaeed losoe, so seeing this made my decision for me. It is being delivered tomorrow and I am excited to use it for my gig this weekend. I just investd in a 6U rack case for my UI16 amd built that out, everything else is either in casters or in flight cases, so this will handle the smaller ones. Thanks for taking the time!

    Argh... I'm a record vendor & bought the pyle pke38 utility cart & have used it quite a bit. Unfortunately I'm just now learning about these on stage ones & they seem much nicer than the pyle brand ones. My unit only has a 200lb weight limit... bummer

    That's great thanks a lot! Was looking for the rock n roller but seeing this I will definetely go with the On-Stage, the top shelf accessory looks like a great addition to it. The only thing I was looking for was the Rock n Roller Extension Rack, do you know if by any chance that fits on the On-Stage version? Thanks a lot

    Are the tires foam filled rubber? How well does it do in loose gravel w/weight in it? Thanks for the info! 😊

    • @eddybobby6211
      @eddybobby6211  5 месяцев назад +1

      @aaronhennings493 works great in grass and certain gravel. Tires are not air-filled. Very smooth roll as well, and tolerances are tight.

    Great comparison video! It’s been a year. How has the On Stage cart held up?

    • @eddybobby6211
      @eddybobby6211  3 месяца назад

      @djstormn it is still rock solid. I ended up buying the smallest version, too, for traveling in the car instead of my van. These carts are great carts.

    Nice video! Currently looking at replacing my old Rock n Roller. Just awful design all around. And they offer these accessories that don't help much at all and are a pain to install and remove (like the extension).
    My main issue with both carts (and a lot of similar utility carts) is that the handles are much too low. I'm not crazy tall (6'2") and the angle i have to bend to pull the cart is so awkward. Wish theyd at least offer some means of extending it.
    But youre right about the Gator all-terrain. My bandmate has it and the forks over the wheels have bent twice now. And the roughest terrain we encounter is just dirt, maybe some gravel. These $100 to $300 carts are made for smooth terrain and have very little adaptability.
    That said, good video, I'll do a trial run of the onstage. Anything to rid myself of the stupid technology that is the pull-wire handle release.

      @@deshauntheillest you make a valid point about having a handle extension. Maybe talk with your local mechanic shop about fabricating one for you. Bring the cart with you when you make a visit to the mechanic shop. Good luck!

    Been 7 months now. How is the On-Stage cart holding up? I see the Amazon reviewers usually only complain about one thing: soft tires? True?

    • @eddybobby6211
      @eddybobby6211  11 месяцев назад +1

      Still going strong. No tire issues. Maybe those complaints are from those overloading the cart. I would contact the manufacturer directly about the complaints you read and see what they say. As for me, no issues.

      @Jay-Go just bought the miniature version of the On-Stage, and it rocks as well. It's perfect for fitting inside smaller vehicles. I have to make two trips compared to the larger one, but it is solid, like the large size. Only con is the miniature one front wheels will not go through grass and gravel.

    Glad I saw this video. Was looking into a cart, specifically all of the RnR models. Didn’t care for the fact that the handles looked loose and that there were no bolts on the wheels, but everyone was swearing by this cart. But looks like I’m going to get the OnStage now. How has it been since this video? Only a couple of weeks, but still strong and together?! Thanks!

    So it doesn’t extend horizontally?

    • @eddybobby6211
      @eddybobby6211  5 месяцев назад +1

      @exquisitearc8498 it is a handtruck and hand dolly configuration, so if you need four wheels, you have that option. Stand it up to use two wheels like a handtruck.

    this is a great review... I like the on stage a lot, except the tires - they seem more like cheap plastic and less grippy than the rock n rollers... The rock n rollers feel more like rubber. Have you had any issues with them?

      Sorry for the late reply. Check the locking bolts. Also, check for any bends in the center support, which prevents extending the unit. Good luck, hope you found a solution.
