Herrelin & Keith's Wedding Celebration
Great comparison video! It’s been a year. How has the On Stage cart held up?
@djstormn it is still rock solid. I ended up buying the smallest version, too, for traveling in the car instead of my van. These carts are great carts.
Thanks for the info. Where did you get the thing that is holding up your Denon Prime controller?
Same question.
That is from the ProX Control Tower. It's the laptop arm and tray. You can find something similar on Amazon, which is far more affordable.
Thank u so much.
That is a super clean set up. I totally agree!! I’m not a fan of the ev speakers but the look is beautiful. Love how you have it wired up
nice what antenna model is that? and if i was running a pair or more of the EV everse 12 with the alto stealth would you need 2?
@boominfree7408 Sennheiser A1031-U Passive Omnidirectional Antenna. Yes, you will need two antennas if you want left & right.
@boominfree7408 You can always run one antennas on mono, (left) and receivers would need to match. I have run three speakers on left mono before.
So it doesn’t extend horizontally?
@exquisitearc8498 it is a handtruck and hand dolly configuration, so if you need four wheels, you have that option. Stand it up to use two wheels like a handtruck.
Yes, it extends from one length to a larger length.
Thanks for this! Why are some of the tracks in green?
I colored the favorites green.
Wow great setup brother! So cool to see the ingenuity all is DJs come up with!!
amazing setup
Can you share links to the hardware you used?
Are the tires foam filled rubber? How well does it do in loose gravel w/weight in it? Thanks for the info! 😊
@aaronhennings493 works great in grass and certain gravel. Tires are not air-filled. Very smooth roll as well, and tolerances are tight.
Also what power source are you using?
What kind of antenna are you touring with your alto stealth? Also- do you have that somehow connected with your main out? I’m guessing it’s on your booth out- but I run monitors- so trying to plan things out! Thanks for the inspiration!
I use Sennheiser fullwave antennas such as the Sennheiser Pro Audio A1031-U and also the Sennheiser ADP UHF Passive directional external antenna.
My board is the Denon Prime 4+, so it gives me 3 XLR outputs. A main out, a zone out, and a booth out.
Argh... I'm a record vendor & bought the pyle pke38 utility cart & have used it quite a bit. Unfortunately I'm just now learning about these on stage ones & they seem much nicer than the pyle brand ones. My unit only has a 200lb weight limit... bummer
Nice video! Currently looking at replacing my old Rock n Roller. Just awful design all around. And they offer these accessories that don't help much at all and are a pain to install and remove (like the extension). My main issue with both carts (and a lot of similar utility carts) is that the handles are much too low. I'm not crazy tall (6'2") and the angle i have to bend to pull the cart is so awkward. Wish theyd at least offer some means of extending it. But youre right about the Gator all-terrain. My bandmate has it and the forks over the wheels have bent twice now. And the roughest terrain we encounter is just dirt, maybe some gravel. These $100 to $300 carts are made for smooth terrain and have very little adaptability. That said, good video, I'll do a trial run of the onstage. Anything to rid myself of the stupid technology that is the pull-wire handle release.
@@deshauntheillest you make a valid point about having a handle extension. Maybe talk with your local mechanic shop about fabricating one for you. Bring the cart with you when you make a visit to the mechanic shop. Good luck!
How can you export the automix playlist to an mp3?
What if your using both XLR inputs for your mics or mic and Lapel and videographer wants to plug into your system? What’s the solution? I really want to purchase the Everse 8 but that’s my only concern.
That is what the "Mix Out" is used for, to send signals out.
@@eddybobby6211Thank you so much!! I’m definitely about to purchase one!! Also, great video!!!
Great video! Did you discuss how/why you modified the tray for the antennas?
Thank you! From what I have learned, when you use larger antennas, you need greater distance between them. This system uses quarterwave antennas, so I upgraded to halfwave antennas, hence why I modified the rear of the optional shelf to give me more distance between the antennas. There is an online calculator that gives you your minimum distance between antennas.
@@eddybobby6211 interesting thank you! Would love to know what you used for jumper cables, bnc connectors, and what drill bit size you used if you can remember. Thanks!

Been thinking of going full wireless for some events. Nice to see someone else doing it. How did this system perform with a packed room? Also does the sound quality decrease being wireless vs being plugged in xlr?
I have successfully utilized the Alto Stealth Pro system for several years across numerous events, particularly those necessitating wireless transmission to the main speakers due to venue floor plans and layouts. The system has consistently performed impeccably whenever I prioritize the strongest reception signals on each receiver and employ full-wave antennas. The performance of the system notably enhanced when I transitioned from quarter-wave to full-wave antennas. While wireless transmission may slightly reduce sound quality compared to balanced XLR wired connections, particularly in the bass frequencies, it is generally imperceptible to the average attendee. Adjusting the subwoofer level on the unit can effectively compensate for any minor differences.
@@eddybobby6211 thx for response!
@izzyduzzit00 you're welcome! If you dec8de to go with the Alto Pro system, let me know so I can show you a few things. Good luck!
@@eddybobby6211 will do thanks!
Well that unit is no longer available but I just got the mk2. Tested it and seems ok so far. Just ordered the sennheiser as well. Got an event coming up where I will need a 50 foot satellite speaker in another room so I wanted to make sure I have good signal. I have the everse 8 so it’s nice to be able to get power off it and be fully wireless
Is it possible to have a crossfade time ? Just like Spotify
Are you running sound switch

Thanks for the conparison. Same as others in this thread, I finally decided to get a cart to streamline load-in/out, and like most, started looking at the RnR. I never liked the way the uprights flare and appeaeed losoe, so seeing this made my decision for me. It is being delivered tomorrow and I am excited to use it for my gig this weekend. I just investd in a 6U rack case for my UI16 amd built that out, everything else is either in casters or in flight cases, so this will handle the smaller ones. Thanks for taking the time!
You're welcome and enjoy!

Nice. What was used for the officiant and couple? Handheld or Lav?
One lavalier for officiants and one handheld on stamd for reader or singer.
@@eddybobby6211 Thank you! So the lav on the officiant picks up the sound from all three (officiant, bride and groom). I was always wondering if that would be possible or if a second lave was needed for the couple.

Is 1 everse8 speaker enough for both a ceremony and reception?
No! Everse 8 is great for ceremony but not so much for reception. They now have the Everse 12. A pair of Everse 12s would be better for reception. Get a pair of those and a sub, and you are good to go.
Wow ur voice sounds like hank from king of the hills 😮😮😮
@@publiclygrown 😂🤣😅
How did you mount everything in there ?
It was all custom mounting. I had to install everything about 3 or 4 times before I found a layout that worked well from what you saw. The side rack rails were mounted with spacers and the bottom ProX rack rails were mounted on shelf to hold the knockout panel for the quick connects.
Cool video. Thanks for the reviews!
Been 7 months now. How is the On-Stage cart holding up? I see the Amazon reviewers usually only complain about one thing: soft tires? True?
Still going strong. No tire issues. Maybe those complaints are from those overloading the cart. I would contact the manufacturer directly about the complaints you read and see what they say. As for me, no issues.
@@eddybobby6211 Thanks, man.
@Jay-Go just bought the miniature version of the On-Stage, and it rocks as well. It's perfect for fitting inside smaller vehicles. I have to make two trips compared to the larger one, but it is solid, like the large size. Only con is the miniature one front wheels will not go through grass and gravel.
