We are happy for her because she worked her way up over the past couple years. She somehow got an olympic spot in 2019 just because they could only allow two Japaneses to compete. Some people might not agree she deserved a position. She trained hard during covid, got on podium in lead and bouldering in 2021, proving she was truly qualified as an olympian. In olympic, although her ranking was not on the top, she was the only one came close to Janja in terms of bouldering performance. She continued to get better in 2022, but still a bit lack comparing to Natalia. Sometimes we wonder if she feel bad to see her best friend being so successful, while she seems to have a road block in front of her. We all know she has the potential, but we wonder will she ever break through that road block. But finally, she get gold this year! We are happy for her!
CONGRATS BROOKE!! It’s actually crazy I never even knew about this sport until I came across Brooke and Natalia and thought it was so cool. Now I watch every woman’s event and always root for the 🇺🇸girls 😅 keep it up my g
I love how climbing is such good vibes that you can feel happy for all the contestants when they win. I love to see Brooke win, especially because it is her first win! I have to admit there are so many other great contestants, too! So many great personalities. Such a friendly community. I also love the very professional, down-to-earth commentary and interviews. I would love to see the whole stream in full quality here, maybe with a delay of a month? Not a friend of the change away from RUclips.

Still stoked about the glorious IFSC call to not show climbing anymore all over Europe free on YT. What a step back in the midst of the rise of our passion sport 🤙 Sell it out and make it private. Cheers IFSC
