Thank you for this amazing video. Yes, I have a RUclips channel which is mostly for crochet tutorials. I really enjoy filming, however I just need to be more consistent. Please keep the videos coming. I love your channel ❤
Consistency is definitely key. It doesn't have to be every day but you could start by trying to plan to post, say, every Thursday, or every other Thursday even, then build from there!
Hi Mei, thanks for sharing. I have a RUclips channel about art journaling. I think that for art kind of videos more than searchable topics count see trends that can help to be seeing as suggested. So far I still don’t get why some videos are getting more views than others. People are watching what they like and in case of art and craft this is so subjective that sometimes I don’t know in which direction better to go 😓
It's funny what people gravitate towards. The ones that get more views - do you see a trend in the topics, or was it recorded differently? Maybe it is just a really hot topic right now. There are lots of reasons that one video could be viewed more than others.
This is great, thanks Mei! I have an art channel but am not so consistent- what you said has made me think about what my goal is For my channel… I need to think 🤔
Ive been thinking of creating my channel, I’m a crochet artist, but not sure what videos to do. I could do crochet tutorials but I would like to do something else to be able to reach customers who’d like to buy my crafts. Do you have any ideas? ☺️
Hi Mei, Love, love, this video. Could you tell me what is needed to start a RUclips channel and Make your first video. I want to use my laptop to record my videos. Do I any kind of software in order to record video from my laptop. Thank you so much...
@@CreativeHiveCo Hi Mei, this is Emily from Sweet Creek Boutique MN! This was a great video suggestion, thank you so much for the recommendation! Along with my dream of someday starting a Shopify site, I would love to start a RUclips Channel! Thanks for sharing your wealth of knowledge! Keep making videos!
I have a youtube channel where I show how to crochet. But making tutorial video is so time consuming and I can't make every week. I tried to change to craft vlog but it seems like nobody watch it. Maybe crochet tutorial and crochet vlog are actually different niche.
Hi! Creating RUclips content definitely is time-consuming. You have to be consistent with posting relevant content to your audience especially in the beginning while you're still growing your audience. If this ends up taking too much of your time, you can spread brand awareness by other means too like Media Outreach (which is really effective). In case you're interested, I covered media outreach in my free workshop here too: bit.ly/3EGGC47 Good luck and hope you enjoy the workshop! ❤️
Loved your video. Unfortunately, because my art form is rare, secretive and time consuming (only 24 people in the world have mastered it), I wouldn't be able to share "how to make" videos on a RUclips channel. I might have to think about a different angle. :-)
I have a bath and body business and want to start a RUclips channel just don’t know if it’s something that I would be successful at. I wouldn’t even know where to start 😓 it’s so intimidating
That's a great idea, Lisette! I would suggest doing a RUclips search of bath and body channels and see what they share. You could get some ideas and then find a way to put your own spin on it.
@@CreativeHiveCo Omgg it is you I had a feeling it was!😂😂 by the way you did an awesome job voice acting as Lyla you’ve made her a really loveable character and very relatable she’s the type of best friend that everyone wishes they had like an caring, bantering and one that loves to joke around with like siblings do.
I would like to start a you tube channel about manufacturing flight cases aka equipment trunks. This is a quite interesting business without no competition in our state and not much in the USA 🇺🇸. My husband is the brains and a character so there would never be a dull moment. But he also can be unorganized. That’s where I come into play. You see I do all the accounting and am a control freak so John and I banter back and forth on certain days. I also spend time working in the shop which usually involves me using a rivet gun and a drill. I wonder if you would think we could entertain people while showing them how to build cases and get some followers. Disregard my profile picture of the wreaths. I am also up to iPhone 13 Pro. Would that be dood for filming videos?
We wound up with two channels, because we do too many things, and found that keeping the two audiences separate made more sense. So, our art, speed paints, behind the scenes, and Story Time animatics are all here: ruclips.net/channel/UCPz0JWV_abxxefwk5FrS69Q While our gardening, recipes, furniture building, and stuff about our puppy is here: ruclips.net/channel/UC6Dq8nhhbJ2kv36lxVMvzWw

Consistency is key, even if it's once a week or once every two weeks. Make it as manageable as you can.

I think it would be fine, at least to start and see how it goes. Just make sure you have good lighting and a clean setup. Good luck!
