ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response it is described as a pleasurable tingling sensation that can be felt most commonly in the back of the scalp and down the spine but not limited to these area's.
I try to describe ASMR experience to people using something common like visiting a hairdresser, do you find the experience of someone focusing on you, the gentle touching of your hair, the sound of the scissors moving around you relaxing?
That would be a relaxing experience, watching ASMR video is like recreating that type of experience.
I believe most people can experience ASMR, to experience ASMR you need to find you trigger, common triggers will often be related to one person focusing on you or another person and watching this person focus or give them attention will trigger it.

Almost anything can be a "trigger' for a persons ASMR everybody is different, you just have to find yours.

This guy has the best ASMR channel on RUclips. I just find all of the weird kidnapping and boyfriend/girlfriend roleplay bullcrap to be a little uncomfortable.
Yeah, I generally prefer the non-fetishized sort of ASMR.

I'm a huge fan and I listen to your videos almost every night. I noticed someone in the past comment said exactly what I was thinking. The first minute or so of this video is highly relaxing. Just the mouth movements and hand gestures. Not even full whispers. I got huge amounts of tingle from that and I think it would make a great video. Keep doing the things you do!

The first minute or so I got the most tingles, that really quiet whisper and hand gestures got me.
The super quiet whisper things are called unintelligible whispers if you want to look them up, and as for the hand gestures I think they're just called visuals. I don't know, I just watch these because I find them interesting, I don't actually experience ASMR; I might be wrong about the names of those triggers because of that but I think I'm right.
You probably won't read this comment, but the first to minutes are my absolute favorite of any ASMR video I've ever watched. The combination of the hand movements, the quiet whispers and just the brief samples of the sounds themselves is absolutely perfect. If you see this, please create more videos of the same nature, just expressive hand movements and whispers along with some gentle sounds! Thank you!

The first 2 minutes is the best part. Just the sound of barely whispering and small movements is more relaxing than anything else.

I heard about asmr for the first time like a month ago, and I've been listening to it ever since, this has really changed my life for the better as I suffer from insomnia high stress and muscle tensions and depression. Thanks for the video and I hope you make more like this one, I like most of the other ones too but this one is great! I love that white plastic sheet or paper sheet or what ever it is. also when you vary from some slightly louder to weaker sounds is great, and when they change from one ear to the other, if you could use these same objects to make some slightly louder noises too that'd be great, don't need borwn sugar packages to make them louder :P Anyways good job ! love listening to this!

I liked the almost whispering sound, personally i like the sound of your voice, its relaxing and your a great asmrtist and have highly requsted asmr props, like the silver soap and white balance card, love the silver soap crinkles sounds, brain melting and gives me tingles, also you are great with talking with your hands, its relaxing too
