  • More than 400m above sea! Very strong wind and cold weather, but the nice view from Beinisvørð cliff in Suðuroy deserved the effort!

Beinisvørð is very noticable once you see Lopra while driving and is also very easy to reach by car. I strongly recommend that tourists don't walk to the edge of the cliff, as the soil is loose. Take a drone with you and explore it from a safe distance.

Well, the drone has to be used respecting the rules and only if you have an insurance. It's not easy like using a camera

WOW! Breathtaking!! Where did you start the hiking and how long did it take to climb here? Is it difficult?

    Hey there Allesio,
what a beautiful footage and view!
I am thinking of shooting a sunrise here when I visit later this month.
Can you advise how long the hike is? Do you have to park near the beginning of the tunnel and hike all the way up the mountain, or can you drive up the mountain itself?
On google maps it looks as though it's possible to drive on top of the hill.
