They are traditional dances from different tribes, Mr Conte, there are hundreds of them in Indonesia, and even more so if we're talking 'bout ethnic groups. Being archipelagic nations, each islands develop their own cultures over the span of centuries and remain exclusive for a time until the era of Majapahit empire where under their reign Indonesians acknowledge the Nusantara concept and also during the unification ( or should we say subjugation ) by the Dutch Colonization hundreds years later.

We don't describe our country is Bali culture or Java culture or specific culture, but we all describe our country as a country full of diverse culture in that. Like our national motto, "Bhinneka Tunggal Ika" which means "Unity in Diversity"🇮🇩
