Though two of them were so close that they probably had i-frames from the first one when the second hit. Also good that no one had 10 fruit when they used the lightning orbs, because a "charged" lightning orb is just a terror. (For those who don't know, fruit are kind of like coins in mario cart, in that getting more of them makes you go faster and getting hit makes you lose some. However, every powerup in the game is improved when you have 10 fruit, like the TNT that can be shaken off turns into a Nitro that explodes immediately when someone hits it, and the lightning orb that targets first place like a blue shell instead sequentially targets every player in front of you.)

No one expects them to be incredible, but like the woman that said she hadn't played before she as at the very least average and could make it round the track. That's with little to no past play time. Yet some journalists say they used to play it all the time and then spend half the race falling off the same corner haha

I'm probably one of the oldest watching PLaystation Access, but as a 36 year old Playstation Fan boii, I really do like this very positive enviroment around my hobby and passion in life. Keep up the great work and more on topic; I can't wait for more Crash Team Racing. It seems so much fun.
I really hope their are no microtransactions in this. I don't mean loot boxes or pay-to-win garbage, I mean I want to purchase this game and never be advertised about buying more crash coins or whatever. If I catch a whiff of microtransactions in this, then I'll be getting Team Sonic Racing.
Honestly, not trying to be elitist, but what is it about the hairpin on Papu's pyramid that people struggle with? Take it wide at first. Jump of the ramp and hold R1 and right. Even Tiny can hit the apex no problem. It's nothing complex, just the basic concept of the racing line, combined with the games main mechanic.
Online multiplayer is going to be so fun in this game, plus I like how all the players can pick the same character more than once :D A lot of fans have wanted to play this game online ;)

@@randomcallum It'd be like Mario Kart 8 online play, 1 or 2 player per console (i don't expect more than 2), its an improvement and also, why would anyone buy a second console just so they can play online with their family / a friend (dad for me) in the same house. They'd get so many more online players with dual play. I'm very hopeful online'll be 2 player
dkmastere don’t get me wrong I’m all for it hell have 8 players on one console if possible I’m all for the player But I really don’t think they will and sure people do plenty of people buy consoles spacfically to play with friends I original only owns a PS4 to play with friends as I play pc but they don’t (thankfully Sony ended up with a fantastic line up of first party games which give me more to use it for but it’s not why I bought it)

I haven't watched in ages so I had to do a double take when I saw Rosie Caddick. To say the Caddicks are passionate about Playstation is an understatement.
I do really hope to set up their servers really good because i trust this is a very fun game and the online features will play a dramatic role when it comes to the gameplay as well.
I find myself attracted to this game so much. Probably because I had the original game on PSOne and it definitely looks like they did a great job with adding some new features to the game. If the reviews for this game will be great then I actually plan on getting this for the PS4.

If Rob did this video it's have been three minutes, which is about where I stopped watching. I miss Hollie. Always on point, even in a live stream. I know she's not coming back and I'll get over it and these girls will get better as they gain more experience.

Correct me if i'm wrong but I remember the missiles being able to target players way ahead. Why do they seem almost useless now unless theres someone right in front of you
Nah, missles lose viability if your opponent isn't in view. Unlike the Red Shells in Mario Kart, the missiles don't travel the track to the player in front of you, they literally home on the closest player's position. If you launch the rocket far enough from a corner it might go past and home on the other racer, but yeah, rockets will hit the wall if there isn't anyone in your field of view
Everyone better be ready to hear people going to hospital because of CTR remastered bcuz they played it so much they didn't want to sleep. Also people who finally start playing pick the all even characters. AKA: Crash, Cortex, and the others that i didn't list. Do this so you can get the feel for the game first, the you can do all the crazy things with high speed racers.

The spawn rate of those needs to be nerfed HARD for online play. That is absurd.... FFS they pulled one from SECOND place at the start of the video.
