Winter is coming and its time to winterize our rain barrel water system at the cabin over at SM Heartland. I just wanted to bring along for this simple task. Please LIKE, COMMENT and SUBSCRIBE. Stay kind!
Good morning Wayne! Thanks for taking us along on your journey. Yes, it was a simple and necessary task, but fun to go through it with you. Always need that reminder to be kind. You're a good man, Wayne.
Hi Wayne! Winter is coming. I'm still recovering from the surgery on my leg, but I hope to be more mobile again in time to get my stuff ready for the white stuff. Hi to Suzie and Maverick and the horses and chickens from crazy Angie.
Hey MW. The seasons are passing way too fast. It’s always bittersweet - I like the cooler weather, but I dread what’s coming after that! You’re a great friend!
Good morning Wayne, short and sweet. Good to see you again, I got behind on my video watching, LOL. Maybe there's some winterizing the firewood cache in the future.🎉🎉🎉
Hi Terry. I have had so many pressing projects to get done lately that I can find the time get them done. Daylight hours are getting too short for me. I don’t know about you but sometimes I feel like I’m on a ship that’s sinking fast and there’s no time to go fishing. Good to hear from you my friend. Take care!
@@WaynePolcin I understand somewhat, a few more pick-up loads of that tree, Mondays I have all day to work on it and winter is coming. But, no pressure no pressure, right. Too bad cousin Eddie won't hang out more, you could get him some chores. LOL 😆 🤣 😂
Keep it simple WP, nice easy fix for the winter. The camper is next I bet if not done already. Unless you have it stored in that new big barn with a wood burner you feed every hour? I think not. The helicopter has to be stored in there! Have a good one and howdy to Suz the Q!
Well, I have found that the wood burner doesn't help much since the building has no walls - go figure! I still have the helipad project sitting on a back burner, but for now, it's stuffed into neat little padded camera case. Suzie is sitting next to and she says, "howdy back to you, the horses minus one are great and I should have teeth in the middle of January, hoping to spend some time in that camper next season"
Hahaha 😂 you made me go back and review the video to see if I forgot to edit out my curse words - not that I would ever curse 🤬🙊🤭 How did I not see you at the PB show?
Yeah, and I didn't even get to use the camper this year. Or last year, for that matter. We have so much rodent damage to repair - wiring, insulation and who knows what else. That will be my project this winter.
@@WaynePolcin To repel rodents we use peppermint oil soaked cotton balls placed liberally throughout the camper. have not had any evidence of rodents since.

Always enjoy these short informative videos, especially the parts at the end that remind me not to go punch happy on people!! ❤

Need to do the same thing to the camper here. I think we are done traveling for this year, haha.
At least you traveled with yours. Mine is just collecting mice🤣🤣
@@WaynePolcin 😆 that we did this year. I was ready to stay home for a while
Seems like not that long ago we got the camper ready for camping and now it is winterized, rodent detoured and in storage.
