They claimed it had nothing to do with his crime. I find that ridiculous how could something of that size growing in your brain not have detrimental effects? Bernardo is a bit worse, so I have him higher. The torture was grotesque but not unheard of. Green River Killer Gary Ridgway is in this category. Adolfo Constanzo - My issue with this ranking of 22 is Constanzo wasn't a typical torture murderer and there is a question of his sanity, really, he was a cult leader. The crimes were horrible of course but not 22 level, I don't think. Place him lower. If Gary Heidnik (Stone places lvl 22) was sane, I'd say his place is fair, but there is evidence that he was mentally ill. The Ripper was a bit different, although also obviously a narcissist, being a classic serial killer who also reveled in taunting the authorities and the populace at large; but he apparently never tortured any of the women he killed, simply killing them as efficiently as possible, reserving his ghastly mutilations for well after he had killed them. The Ripper would probably rate about a 20 for that reason. All educated guesses, naturally, but that sounds about right.

Roger was a narcissist, but he was also a spree killer who didn't torture his victims, so he'd probably rate about the middle of the pack, about a 15.
The Ripper was a bit different, although also obviously a narcissist, being a classic serial killer who also reveled in taunting the authorities and the populace at large; but he apparently never tortured any of the women he killed, simply killing them as efficiently as possible, reserving his ghastly mutilations for well after he had killed them.
The Ripper would probably rate about a 20 for that reason.
