That sidewinder funnel was the strangest tornado I had ever seen. There are pictures of tornadoes like that in old post card photos of the late 1800s into the early 1900s.
I will also NEVER forget watching this tornado chase live. That horizontal monster writhing above the chase team was unbelievable. The myriad shapes that tornado took on was insane. Remembering those impacted was gut wrenching.
What an episode 😮 The 26th - 30th April 2024 outbreak was intense. Just 4 and 3 days before the Westmoreland tornado we'd had the EF4 in Elkhorn, Nebraska and the EF4 in Marietta, Oklahoma too. The footage that you got right under the twisting funnel of the Westmoreland tornado was incredible. NSC
That was intense! After being a storm spotter since I was 16 (more than 30 years ago), the Westmoreland tornado was the first one I've ever seen. I didn't have the pleasure of seeing it up close and personal like that. For me, it was off in the distance, but I did get a very good view of it. This footage is golden! Thank you for sharing your adventures, Reed. Stay safe out there!
Wow that Westmoreland tornado was amazing! Great episode! The clip of Brian eating while watching you guys get towed out was hilarious 😂 well done Reed and team! Can't wait for the next one!
You gotta be kiding me with that!! Perfect title... my jaw literally dropped when the camera panned up. I was not expecting that. So AWESOME! I can't imagine experiencing that IRL. I'm jealous.
I need this to be a weekly episode release please?! 😂 also, i can't tell you enough how much i love the way Brian compliments Reeds chaos- his calm voice as a narrator, his explanations/education on the livestreams, the odd laughs. the entire team dom dynamic is great actually 👌🏼

I looking forward to this episode of the Twisters IRL. I'm a little miss for a live briefings 😕I did hear we could get the earliest snowfall in the northern Sierra Nevada Mountains on this Friday night 🏂
I've watched these episodes twice already, I can't wait for the next episode! I'm a huge fan and I'm super stoked for part 4! Thanks for doing these and putting yourself out there!
When you are stuck in a ditch like in the video, the best way to be recovered (in this scenario) you should turn your wheels INTO the ditch - put the truck in reverse - moderate throttle - and have some pull you back wards. Your tires will climb you out of the ditch better than trying to go forwards. Watch any of MattsOffroadEecovery you’ll see the same thing!! Awesome video guys
Awesome footage! I sure would've loved it if they'd of shown a glimpse of the velocity return on that rope tornado. They should consider doing that on these productions as I'm guessing most of the viewing audience is familiar with such data.
Omg I LOVE these new videos! I watched this one as it was happening and remember thinking how you guys saved a lot of lives since it was on the ground with NO warning!!! Wth?! It was also one I rewound multiple times! Soo beautiful and amazing to watch! Also, I learned today that it really is “all about that base” 😂

I remembering watching this and thinking if it wasn’t live, I’d think it was fake. Unbelievable pictures. Just amazing. The long, powerful rotation. Imagining that hidden inside other tornadoes is terrifying. Brian, your narrating is excellent. This episode is extremely well done. Love it!
Those power lines around that house made me so anxious. Been electrocuted before from a downed power line, it's not fun. I hope the editing left out you guys checking things first. And remember, just because the area doesn't look charged, doesn't mean it isn't. I was shocked over 50ft away from a downed line just from having my feet spread apart when I stepped into the hot zone.
