I thought you would mentioned it since you tested with Skill Drain, but you kinda forget the big aspect of Diva Hero: Zombie Package. Skill Drain is the Zombie card, especially in the side deck, that helps them fighting the meta. Either the full Zombie lineup (2 Gob, PSZ, Mezuki, Reaper, Master, 3 turtles), reduced (no turtle), or minimal (4 best Zombies), they all have their merit and need to be tested.
Diva Hero is one of those decks you need to take break from in order for you to do well with it again I feel like lol. Before I took a break from it I tested Legacy of yata in it. Had some success. I think the list with skill drain is very promising imo
I don’t think I’d take Diva Hero to a tournament because I don’t have a ton of experience with it yet but I will say the concept of diva hero is my second favorite deck in the format after dragons and I love playing it causally with friends
If you have skilldrain up and you summon something like diva or caius, you can use econ to tribute take, and Your monster is no longer on the field so the effect goes through.
I feel this deck needs a more control style build. I played it a lot and have a lot of success with it, but the match up against bw and vayu is really difficoult. I tried spies but the problem is the package takes a lot of space and the drck loose on consistency. In addition, spy rarely resolve as you expect. Maybe i'll back to my old build with 2 snowman in the main deck, they are a body for caius or diva too.

You upgraded by dropping Diva Hero. Blackwings have multiple tops, whereas Diva Hero, I think had a top in Europe or something. As formats continue to be played, they are going to be solved. Remember when Edison format first started and how people could play sacksworns and top 8 at major touranments? You don't see that anyone, times change, what was once good can be rendered obsolete.

Jakexo is the best Zombie Diva Hero player by far. I’m not a fan of the engine, but he always does well.
Maybe try diva zombie hero? doesn't run gillman

It has had tournament success. If you’re patient and play optimally, you can do well with it in tournament.
I’ve been considering main trunade or dust with twister and trap stuns in the side. Doesn’t solve the inconsistency issues though
Trunade and Trap Stun are good for ensuring OTKs go through.
Have you played around with Aretos Ab Zero Turbo or even Hero Frogs?

I recommend testing out the different versions I displayed and play the build you’re most comfortable with. :)
