I have always wanted to see the Normandy in no mans sky. But I can honestly say with all my heart that I never expected it to actually happen.

A surprise, but a welcome one
I am stunned how this team still surprises us every time.
I'm stunned how a single modder (in multiple cases) can add more variation to planet generation in a few days/weeks than a team of 30ish people could in five years. Hopefully we'll get more updates like Origins.
@@OhSnakes You can't look at exceptionally talented individuals as the mainstay of modders. A lot of modders are hopelessly inadequate due to learning, or just not having the talent. To look at exceptional cases of single developers or modders succeeding and implicitly suggest that teams are worse as a result, is stupid. There's always a bright spark that studios will pick up and become better. Ignorance isn't bliss in your case.

There won't be modders if there were no creators. There's nothing to improve/modify without the ones who makes the base code. Therefore, your comparison unjust.
The music of No Man's Sky is amazing. The game is an absolute breakthrough, a landmark in engine innovation. I have over 150 hours of gameplay since launch and still go back from time to time just to experience the seamless transition from planet surface to space and underwater environments. Buy this game. Hello games deserve your money and respect for their contribution to gaming evolution.

I wonder, would we be able to re-summon the ship in the planets atmosphere at some point in the future? Like that moment when the ship appeared was so epic! 😍 like give us an item to re-activate that little cutscene

This expedition was a grind at times but it sure was worth it when the Normandy appeared on the horizon! My two favorite games of all time together at last and I am so here for it!

@@AvalineSky Yup! Expedition 2. Just try to finish it before end of next week, that is when it ends. It only took about 4 hrs to finish this expedition, compared to the first one taking 25 hrs.

Coming up to almost 5 years and I am still waiting for space\combat update like they showed us all those years ago where there would actually be galactic wars going with capital ships actually fighting each other. My fingers are still crossed this game has achieved so much and still has so much potential.

Only now do i actually care about Normandy and you give us such little time to get her, im so hurt by this.
I would've loved to get my hands on it but only now did i realize this was going on because of the new Prism update i got to see NMS news again and i was playing ME this whole time...
Im betting it won't be coming back but to miss the deadline by 2 days because i was busy actually enjoying the original work really hurts. I hate events, just give us a chance to get it for longer or even better, just make it a thing in the game that you can get anytime! Im guessing most people are going to be like me and realize this incredible collab happened too late because the date was too short and they were probably playing Mass Effect still.
