This guy is crazy it literally just took me less then 2 mins to download the official DJi app via the Android Qr scan code on the back of the box that the drone came in 🤦🏽♂️ didn't need to download any apk installer, he really made this hard work

It was doing great for years but stop working like 2 or 3 months ago, but now thanks to your tutorial, I have my mini 2 back in the air.... The DJI fly app has been a mare for me for years, lost count of how many times I have had to reinstall over the years. Main reason I don't have much drone footage.
I sold my old drone a while back as the app kept crashing. It was the old version. I bought this one assuming all that was fixed. It's b7llsh1t that's it's still a problem.

Most android devices has there own APK file installer. Just need to allow yourself to install untrusted APK files. I'm stuck with the Samsung S6 tablet with the app running but unable to get connection activation button to light up. I just don't think the S6 will work with the fly app.

Nice work getting a drone, looking forward to the shots. Though I don't use my current phone for my drone, I think it is only some Android phones that aren't "compatible" with the standard install. Some still allow an App Store installation but some don't. There will be DJI page tucked away somewhere showing compatible models. Somewhere...
, I just scanned the smart code that comes in the instructions in the DJI box. Download the app and I was flying within 10 minutes of unboxing it. None of that faffing 😀

This can help someone who bought the drone 2nd hand and don't have the box to scan the QR code.

Done mine slightly differently, I went into the Google play store and restored the app back to its default, that did the trick
