A good video Dewey and a good bit of wisdom from you and Stewart McGlennon. If you can afford it buy it and it gives you pleasure, by all means buy it, but you don't really need it for still Landscape photography. If you are purely a hobby photographer and not out to sell to or impress customers, friends or social media viewers, any DSLR or mirrorless camera made in the last 10 years will do the job for Landscape photography. Been out today in bright sunshine on a windy sandy beach taking Jpegs on an old Pentax K5 with no fear of ruining an old weather sealed camera. More than happy with the results for £200 on eBay. Note I am only talking still photography, video photography sadly may be different but I have never cared to venture into this.
I have come to a point in life where I have started treating myself to a few of things I have always wanted. I have to admit that it feels good. Hopefully you can do the same someday. Thanks for watching.
Great video Dewey, I am also a fellow Leica shooter. Easy tip to remove your car from the shot, dont crop, just use Lightroom and content aware to remove your car and then you can use PS's new beta feature to remove the power lines with one button click. The AI is amazing and does a great job removing them.

@@PeterBirt-x7g thanks for watching and the kind words. Enjoy your K5.
Appreciate you sharing your thoughts Dewey. RE Leica, feel the same, its on my list to someday get one, knowing full well I in no way need it :)

Why stop there, you can even sell the leica and use ps to generate the image in the first place
@ Thanks for the recommendation. I will give it a try.
@@cristibaluta That takes the fun out of photography. Thanks for the comment.
may I suggest a monopod?
Yes you can. I have one but I never use it. I should have had the OIS on. Maybe I’ll get it right the next time.
