Glue tred patches, zip ties, gloves, lighter, pliers, pocket knife are in my kit in addition to what you mentioned. Baby wipes instead of TP. And a wide brimmed gardening hat in case I'm stuck in the desert.
Oohhh these are all great suggestions! I need to get some pliers for my camping box, which includes some of these things too. Didn’t want to run too too long ha. Thanks for watching!
@TheTexasTrailhead I forgot basic first aid kit. My dad fell one time and had a big gash on his head. Gauze, neosporin and bandage to stop the bleeding.
I would not keep regular plastic water bottles, they leach with heat and UV. Spend a bit more and buy some aluminum bottles or cans. Store in the spare tire well which is does not trap heat as bad as the trunk or glove compartment.

Oh super helpful to keep a first aid kit too!

Oohhhh good tip!
If you're in the desert and maybe about to die, no one cares about plastic leaching. Many aluminum bottles also have plastic liners.
