I dare say this is a spiritual issue first. I come from this region and to be honest we need God.It is a perennial issue that will be spoken of for a long time to come minus divine intervention. One cannot expect things to move in his or her own home without addressing the root of the problem. Each continent, country, community, family and individual on earth has evil forces/powers that govern them until the day they decide enough is enough and they deal with them only by God's help.As Luhyas,we have work to do.If we invite Jesus Christ into our hearts first, then our families, then our region, I promise you divine intervention will kick out all stubborn problems we have been facing as a community as a whole,Whether spiritual, physical or material problems,it doesn't matter. What is key is that as a community,we need a spiritual revival minus the traditions that have crippled our churches.Light and darkness can never mix my brothers and sisters. If we seriously embrace Jesus Christ and live apart from the world, which is possible by the power of the Holy Spirit, then we shall come out as powerful, blessed, victorious community that will shine as an example not only to other communities in Kenya but to the rest of the world.Amen?

Revisit your prices. How comes imported sugar (even after paying for duty and taxes) cost half price than what is produced locally? Stop the greed fix your budget sell lower and results will be more purchases and more exportation. Haba na haba hujaaza kibaba. A profit of 1 bob per bag exporting millions of bags means you making millions in profit. Sio lazima ukule 20 bob kwa bag eti ndo you make money.
