A lot of places have acne facials and they work really well!!! Right after you look pretty crummy but after a few hours your skin looks really good!!! I used to get them quite often when my acne was super bad.

I’m going to school to become a cosmetologist and facials are amazing! They’re so relaxing and great for your skin. They will cause you to break a little bit because it’s drawing all the toxins and everything to the surface to get rid of it, but give it a few days and it will probably help to clear the skin, especially if you were to get one like ever week or two! Also I love your channel so much! So inspired by you and your looks😍😍

Toasted cinnamon is one of my FAVORITE eyeshadows and blushes!! It blends so nicely and it’s effortless at 5 AM when I’m getting ready for work! I’ll grab some and put it in the crease if I feel like the rest of my eyeshadow isn’t blended.. or just wear it by itself in the crease with some highlight on the lid 👍 Love it

Honestly cutting back on the "skin care" routines helped my skin clear up. I realized I was being too harsh on my face with all the products, and now I just use a gentle face soap, and only exfoliate and moisturize when I feel I need it. Also when I swapped to drinking only water and no sugary drinks for a while my face looked way better. Also I have just discovered your channel in the past week and you're my new fav :)
We are literally moving into our dream home this weekend. Last night was our first night here. We grilled up some food for dinner. Hopefully we'll finish moving today. But our summer is going to consist of enjoying our new home in the country... doing some things to make it ours like build the deck and a new fire pit. But I'm so in love. I think it'll be the best summer ever!

facials are amazing, I have only gotten 2 in my life but i loved the way my skin felt after. for acne, I cleanse my face every night do my toner, and then moisturize my face. I let that sit then I apply aloe vera to my skin, I get it straight from the plant and it works wonders!! it clears scars and the size of your acne

I have a monthly plan at a spa and I get a facial once a month. I’ve been going to the same woman for 14 years! I get the European facial- but when my skin is really bad, she’ll use glycolic acid to help open my pores once I’m under the steam. You can also get enzyme treatments for acne too! They all just break down the dead skin and open up your pores. MAKE SURE that whoever you see, does extractions by hand. You don’t want to go to a place where they use a machine. They’re horrible comparatively. Never go the day before a big event, because your skin will be worse for a few days after. Then it gets much better! I highly recommend that you try it!
Hi Allie, another wonderful video 👍 Well, I was always a bit afraid of facials, but a few months ago a really started to be serious about skincare, I am 34, first wrinkles started to create, and still acne and PIH... I researched for a while to find the ingredients that could really help to solve my issues, and found a whole new world of skincare to me 😀 (before I was using quite expensive creams, serums, but actually without knowing, what exactly the ingredients are) So I incorporated to my regimen mostly retinoids (mild form), acids, vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, peptides (especially copper peptides are great for overall healing the skin) and oils (rosehip seed oil, marula oil, borage oil, squalane - they are all great). After two to three months I saw a huge difference, wow, my skin has never looked better, wrinkles, acne and also the pigmentation are mostly gone. My skin feels so smooth and plump. I use the very popular Deciem brands (high quality products for very reasonable prices) - mostly The Ordinary, some products also from their Hylamide and NIOD line. These products have literally saved my skin. Oh, and don't forget the super important SPF for every day! 😉👍

You should try Korean beauty skincare products. I switched about six months ago and it’s been a game-changer for my skin in terms of improved tone, texture, and quality (no breakouts!!!). The process seems like a lot to have to do...they’ve got either a seven or ten step process, but I just sort of pick and choose what works for me. It’s pretty relaxing...the products are more affordable than a lot of our American options and are good for sensitive skin, too. I’ve bought all of my stuff from Soko Glam and have loved everything I’ve tried...plus, they send a free sample (lots of times it’s a sheet mask!) with your order. Might be worth trying to help with your skin concerns. Love your channel and your sweet spirit!
You were mentioning things about facials and estheticians, and as an esthetician I highly highly highly recommend looking at the Eminence Organics skincare line. I used it in training and I still recommend it to people. Their hydrating masks are to die for, and the Bright Skin collection is probably what you need for your hyperpigmentation. I personally used it on myself!
I use Differin gel for acne. U can get it at Walmart. I used to have to get a prescription for it years ago and it works very well. Idk about facials though but would love to get any kind lol. Love ur videos.

Go and get a basic facial for your first time! They look at your skin specifically and create masks/products for your specific skin type. Don't be afraid of extractions that come with facials- they can be painful, but get your skin SO much cleaner than you can on your own, which is great for clearing up acne! Definitely recommend!

I have never had a facial but I had acne since my teens and am now 30, my skin isn't perfect but I cut out a lot of dairy and started using avalon organic face wash, thayers witch hazel, and avalon organics night cream and I have never been happier with how my skin looks. Also use argan oil at night, makes my skin so soft. I love this type of look too, been really into my garnier bb cream mixed with a little elf bb cream, elf nude linen cream shadow, elf beautifully bare peach blush, butter bronzer, cover girl volume blast mascara and essence pure nude highlighter.
Definitely check our Dr. Dray’s channel for acne, hyperpigmentation, skincare routines. She’s a dermatologist. And facials are basically like a massage for your face IMO. As in, a relaxing splurge sometimes but won’t give you any lasting results.
This look is great! Regarding facials, try to ask for an enzyme peel! I have a lot of hyperpigmentation and acne scars and it made my skin tone a lot more even and it improved my texture in the first session. Also, it is not a PEEL like, your skin is not going to fall off, it is very very gentle. I have very sensitive skin and it felt great 💕
I just recently started using Curology and it has helped my acne so much. It’s not anything to do with a facial, but I would recommend it. I have seen a huge difference in my acne.

I had bruising and scarring from autoimmune issues and I was at my last leg, until I began glycolic acid treatments. They not only got rid of new issues but scarring was completely gone in just a few months. At first the treatments are sensitive but as you go by you see a big change. After all clears up, it is personal maintenance and you can judge when you are ready to get another peel.
I just want to say, you always have great conversation in your videos. So often I feel like makeup tutorials are either awkward because of the lack of talk or can be overwhelming because there is too much talking, but yours is always so natural... I have been rotating hydra-facials and IPL's every month for about a year and my skin has been loving it. I hardly ever get breakouts and now that my skin has cleared, I am focusing more on the IPL's for my hyperpigmentation. I highly recommend trying them out! Love your content :)
I love facials! They’re super relaxing and they do have some that are specifically for acne. Sometimes, they will break you out because the esthetician gets deep down to clean your skin so don’t be scared. You should definitely try Curology though! I used to have AWFUL acne and this literally cured my face from acne! All I get now are some hormonal pimples around Aunt Flo’s visit. Please oh please try it!

The process seems like a lot to have to do...they’ve got either a seven or ten step process, but I just sort of pick and choose what works for me. It’s pretty relaxing...the products are more affordable than a lot of our American options and are good for sensitive skin, too. I’ve bought all of my stuff from Soko Glam and have loved everything I’ve tried...plus, they send a free sample (lots of times it’s a sheet mask!) with your order. Might be worth trying to help with your skin concerns. Love your channel and your sweet spirit!
You were mentioning things about facials and estheticians, and as an esthetician I highly highly highly recommend looking at the Eminence Organics skincare line. I used it in training and I still recommend it to people. Their hydrating masks are to die for, and the Bright Skin collection is probably what you need for your hyperpigmentation. I personally used it on myself!
I use Differin gel for acne. U can get it at Walmart. I used to have to get a prescription for it years ago and it works very well. Idk about facials though but would love to get any kind lol. Love ur videos.

Go and get a basic facial for your first time! They look at your skin specifically and create masks/products for your specific skin type. Don't be afraid of extractions that come with facials- they can be painful, but get your skin SO much cleaner than you can on your own, which is great for clearing up acne! Definitely recommend!

I have never had a facial but I had acne since my teens and am now 30, my skin isn't perfect but I cut out a lot of dairy and started using avalon organic face wash, thayers witch hazel, and avalon organics night cream and I have never been happier with how my skin looks. Also use argan oil at night, makes my skin so soft. I love this type of look too, been really into my garnier bb cream mixed with a little elf bb cream, elf nude linen cream shadow, elf beautifully bare peach blush, butter bronzer, cover girl volume blast mascara and essence pure nude highlighter.
Definitely check our Dr. Dray’s channel for acne, hyperpigmentation, skincare routines. She’s a dermatologist. And facials are basically like a massage for your face IMO. As in, a relaxing splurge sometimes but won’t give you any lasting results.

This look is great! Regarding facials, try to ask for an enzyme peel! I have a lot of hyperpigmentation and acne scars and it made my skin tone a lot more even and it improved my texture in the first session. Also, it is not a PEEL like, your skin is not going to fall off, it is very very gentle. I have very sensitive skin and it felt great 💕

Hawaii will be so much fun. We love to go. My youngest daughter will be playing select soccer this summer with Dad coaching, so we will be doing soccer tournaments. Those take up enough of our summer 😊
I had bruising and scarring from autoimmune issues and I was at my last leg, until I began glycolic acid treatments. They not only got rid of new issues but scarring was completely gone in just a few months. At first the treatments are sensitive but as you go by you see a big change. After all clears up, it is personal maintenance and you can judge when you are ready to get another peel.

Hi Allie! I recently started following you because we have similar skin types and I love that you include high end products as well as drug store! I have been rotating hydra-facials and IPL's every month for about a year and my skin has been loving it. I hardly ever get breakouts and now that my skin has cleared, I am focusing more on the IPL's for my hyperpigmentation. I highly recommend trying them out! Love your content :)

I love facials! They’re super relaxing and they do have some that are specifically for acne. Sometimes, they will break you out because the esthetician gets deep down to clean your skin so don’t be scared.
You should definitely try Curology though! I used to have AWFUL acne and this literally cured my face from acne! All I get now are some hormonal pimples around Aunt Flo’s visit. Please oh please try it!
