Lily Cash Yeah her water bowl video was the first one I saw. I just remember I told my mother about how I watched a girl in class doodle something on her paper right next to me while the teacher was talking in the background. I just remembered feeling this tingl sensation and being so creeped out because I wasn't attracted to her or anything. I just wanted more of it. My mom knew exactly what it was because she had experienced it before. She herself had been listening to asmr-type videos to go to sleep (this was when the genre had been newly formed). And she searched asmr up on her computer and clicked on one of the first videos and it was her water bowl one with the cupcake bath bomb. I just remember feeling absolutely paralyzed. Ever since I was addicted. Though my asmr has lost a lot of its power, it's only because I've yet to ever take a break longer than a week. I surprised it's still here honestly. I think I'm just sensitive...

I totally understand your fear of debt (I have it too). Changing your life path like that is very brave---even getting to the place where you can recognize that something "isn't you" takes a lot, and I wish you the best with your new goals. I also understand what you mean about wanting your vids to be perfect---there are more than a few vids I almost didn't put out---were it not for an awesome person in this community basically ordering me to, I don't know that they would have ever been seen---so if you ever need someone to order you to put out content that you don't want to, I volunteer ;P. It's really good to see/hear you again, Violet. My hair looks gorgeous now :)
I just managed to claw my way out of debt and I can tell you, Both of your guys' videos helped me with the stress.
Heather Feather ASMR its weird that Violet disappeared and didn't join the ASMR Super Friends (ally, heather, Maria etc etc). Wonder what happened to her.

Now there is nor you nor Violette... I miss you both. And now I feel old too, seeing your comment is 5 years old now, anx I've seen it when you've posted it. I'd like to think you're "in a good place now"(Bob)... Well, you're in my heart at least.
These videos may be a few years old but they are still far better than most of the ASMR today. Violet did an excellent job producing them and it is apparent she has an good understanding of what binaural audio should be and what ASMR is about. There are few videos on YT with a binaural soundscape as good as this. Many have tried; most fail.
I hope she is happy and in good health, wherever she is and whatever she is doing. Maybe, at some point, she could come back and do some more. It would be nice to hear that she's okay even if it's just a short video.
Okay, I don't know why you'd leave negative comments about these type of videos. They are meant solely to relax others, and in so cases, even aid in sleep. I have always felt that soft, soothing voices such as Violet's ..are very calming to me, and help me to fall asleep quickly. This is helpful considering the fact that I have terrible insomnia. As far as I'm concerned...the people who do these kind of videos...take the time out of their days to do them...are doing a public service act. They are helping others. Can you say the same for yourselves? Thank you, Violet. I don't think it is for attention in the least. You are a kind person. Keep up the good work. You continue to help me fall asleep every night now.

I've came back to one of my first ever ASMR videos I watched when I randomly typed in relaxing hair brushing and never realised there was a whole community dedicated to what I thought was just 'my weirdness'. Violet by the way, I'm a nurse. And I applaud you for going back to school. Even though you may not seem to be heading where you wish you were, it will all come together for you. Plus there are a lot of opportunities for PA's especially the way our healthcare is heading. PA's will probably be saving a lot of money. And you can do a lot of things. :)

You're eyeliner is better than half the U.S population. You haven't overdone it, you could even go more.
If you are having issues with perfectionism, I encourage you to try "the faster tapping" which is an Emotional Freedom Technique. It helps to let go of perfectionism. I have learned that perfectionism is a result of critical and judgmental parenting. My parents were very critical and now that they are not around to criticize me, I criticize myself internally. My parents also parented using guilt. You are not guilty of any misdeed. You need to treat yourself like you would a friend and cut yourself some slack. You don't 'have to' do videos when you don't feel like it. You don't 'have to' do a perfect video. Life is about choices. You can choose to do or not do a video and that's okay. You are absolutely fabulous!! I can tell you are a very giving and great person. Your videos can be an expression of your experimentation and creativity and don't define you and don't need to be perfect. Your imperfection is human and beautiful! Wishing you calm, rest, peace and happiness. Isn't that what you give to others anyway? :-)

I think that Violet is one of the best ASMR artists. I keep coming back to this video. I think a person has to be brave to do these kinds of videos. Some of the comments can be staggering. What I like is the washing sounds. Wow. And brushing too. I had major tingles and when Violet said, "you should be feeling that tingly feeling right now" I totally was. I think how did she know? That is a million dollar question...does someone know when it is working well in a video? It is a special kind of art to be able to bring that sort of experience to others. Violets voice and calmness and various sounds seem to be magic. I would say Violet don't stop making these because you are a rare jewel in the ASMR community
