Thanks for this excellent video. Not a customer but greatly appreciate your honesty and insight. This reversal of the plugs (opposite to what keying suggests) in the back of the LCD12864 fix also can apply to using them in a GT2560 A+. LCD goes to EXP1, SD goes to EXP2. The red lines on the cables (looking at the GT2560 board with writing correct way up) are on the right hand side and go to the the plugs on the back of the LCD12864 the red line is also on the right hand side. If not, ignore the key and shove them in hard back to front or cut the keys off (side cutters)and reverse them easily. Thanks again.

Have you created a harness drawing that includes a harness schematic and layout for the harness? Have you detailed out where pin one is on the cable connectors?
If you have not created a drawing for the harnesses I'd recommend you do so and send it to your vendor.
Yeah we did. They just didn't check. I spoke to them and he said he did not realize that the factory switched them out on the last batch.

My display illuminates but no text is displayed. I've got it enabled in the firmware and fiddled with contrast but nothing seems to work. (This isn't one of your guy's but I figured you could provide some insight)
Probably the wrong setting in the firmware if its not displaying. If its not firmware then the LCD is bad. All our LCDs are pre-tested to ensure no DOA ones if you do need another.
I had same prob I did the same but now I am having sd init fail problem can you help
Could be a bad SD card (try another) or even a bad slot on the LCD.
@@TH3DStudio I have two screen both have same issue I have used three versions of marlin with no success I'll get one more and try👍

My 12864 graphic controller doesnt working? There is no display. how could i fix it?
Could be a firmware mis-configuration. If there is no LCD backlight (even after swapping the cables) then you probably have a defective LCD.

Only the lights are coming..no name
Check your firmware settings and that EXP1 and EXP2 are connected correctly to the right headers on both ends. If you need further help check out our forum: forum.th3dstudio.com/
