I had a near death experience when I was 13 years old. It was so amazing. I felt intense warmth and care and there was a great connectivity. I knew I was connected to every animal and plant and person that had ever lived. I had no separate central nervous system. I wasn't a separate being. I was held in great warmth with all beings. I was so angry when I returned to my earthly body. I was angry at my mom who was a nurse. I thought that her care made it so I'd returned. My mom told me that she thought I was not like other people after that. I had no ego around competition or striving for being good at things. I just celebrated my humanity by singing, dancing and making things. I had no ego around needing to excel at anything. To this day I don't understand this need for people. I know I am a changed person from my experience. My friends say I have a deep vulnerability and share everything in a way that they don't have themselves but I still feel a deep sense of disconnection based on being in the energy of complete connection with the universe for a very short time.
The Self is not a "not I". That makes the Self seem like a foreign object. The Self is in fact our True Nature. The Self includes yet transcends the Ego. The Self is nothing less than our own Divine Nature. The "dark side of the Self" is temporary. It is not a permanent feature of the Self. The dark side is the accumulated karma of the Soul or Self, which is the reincarnating Being. Jung did not write much about reincarnation but it is impossible to understand the Self and human nature without understanding reincarnation. The Self is you. The danger is that an ego that is still carrying loads of shame, fear, insecurity, etc, will identify with the Self prematurely...before the darkness has been purged and integrated. This results in an inflated grandiose ego, which is not good. The person must purge and integrate the repressed instincts, emotions, feelings, and complexes before integration of the ego and Self can take place. This is exactly what happens in spiritual awakening or kundalini awakening, which is roughly equivalent to Jung's "Individuation" process. The ego becomes integrated with the Self or Soul. Peace.

This is interesting, thank you. Members of my family have all had NDE or supernatural experiences that were so convincing they left no doubt in our minds as to the existence of More Than This. In the decades since those initial events I’ve discovered a whole RUclips community of psychics and spiritualists who share a loose, non-codified set of beliefs about the nature of reality, existence of a creator, and continuity of essence (the soul) upon physical passing. This inspired me to write two books on the subject from the viewpoint of the agnostic who gets inadvertently pulled in, should these interest you or anyone else. Food for thought. Cheers.
There was a product some years back called a Greater Grater . . . for the kitchen. Discuss amongst yourselves. What would Jung have said about his wife using that in her cooking endeavors ???
But what IS a literal burning bush? It is described as such and not “as” a burning bush. We may be speaking of different realms of perception: that of the perceiver & that of the one who receives what the perceiver witnessed. And the perceiver, too, is a recipient of that transcendent vision. So, trust (or faith) seems pivotal. Just some thoughts …

Ego can not experience the self ,it's the self experiencing itself . When the believe in an imaginairy self is gone the self remains .
This video in itself is a beautiful relativization of the ego
Ego can't discover the self. Ego-construct appears IN the self. Only the self can discover the self.

There are no separations of the self.
Just call them merges into new flows 💚
Awe and reverence. Yes. The awe-ful, as well as the awe-inspired or the awe-inspiring.
In all humbleness I declare being here is a synchronistic Ego discovers and denies The Self experience presence
I like how it all comes back to Job.
Exactly. Jung did.
Thank you 🙏 🙏

Pre wrecked you mean before i crashed my car, the black white car?
In my mind there is no self or ego because the self is always transforming so even in this life time there is no real self, I am not my body.
GOD is our greatest helper, guide, friend and beyond :)
