JEON SOMI's mother is Korean and father is Dutch-Canadian. She participated in SIXTEEN and PRODUCE 101. She won the 1st place in produce 101. She was in a girl group called 'I.O.I'. After IOIs promotions ended she was on a bunch of different variety shows, two of which centered around creating temporary girl groups. Both Unnies and Girls Next Door were made up of already established idols/celebrities so they were almost more like collabs than actual groups
