The music is so complex it's as if each musician is playing his own mini masterpiece of a song and they all just happen to coincide beautifully. What a performance.

I agree, he only uses sterling pros! david Sanchez is playing two instruments at once

    Sensational performance!
And that “sax” solo was perfection too. Wow!! It doesn’t get any better then that. 10/10 👌

Me too. Sting in general. I loved him for years, then dropped off, and now looking back, I'm realizing he's probably one of the most talented song writers of all time. Pretentious, but it's deserved when you're one of the most sophisticated musicians going.

Killer performance by both Sting and the band. Amazing how Paul and the cats are able to adapt to any song/artist.

The atmosphere is absolutely perfect for the song's lyrics & meaning. Top notch! Studio quality live! Amazing stuff.

Sting giving a little "pat on the back" to Dominic while entering the stage. Bass player very happy to rock a fretless with a ton of chorus. At 2:52 David Sancious gives a look and a big smile to his colleague who is going to play Oud or something (is it samples ?). I like the drumsticks on the congas too. Lots of little nuggets from great professionnals. "Music is not only the notes you play, it is how you play them."

David Sancious was also an early member of the E Street Band. They replaced him with Roy Bittan and went on to tour with…Sting (among others) in 1988 for Amnesty International.
