HELLO FRIENDS!! after many weeks... here is the video that almost defeated me, the grand finale of our vegas trip - where we ate at every celebrity chef restaurant on the vegas strip! which restaurant was your favorite? would you like to see a part 2 (or maybe a short) of the restaurants we missed? EDIT: also, there is some controversy around foie gras that we weren't aware of before filming, our apologies. if you'd like to know more, we've added some links to the description!
I appreciate that almost every restaurant is rated on whether or not it was more/less expensive than Johnny Rockets. Truly the best meter stick of celebrity chef restaurants.
I need to emphasize my gratitude for the minimal chewing sounds. This is the only food-centered video I’ve been able to watch all the way through without needing to turn it off for that reason. Also an entertaining video, as always. Ly Safia and Tyler
I know Guy Fieri is a bit of a meme, but he will always have my respect. My hometown burned down in a wildfire in 2018, leaving many of my people displaced with no home, possessions, money, etc. He came out to help and fed many, many people.
My best friend had cancer when we were in middle school, and was a big fan of Guy. My mom sent him a letter and he sent her a TON of signed merch and a hand written note. I hear stories about his generosity all the time. He’s a good dude
He came to my little home town during the COVID lockdowns. He walked around town meeting people and signing his sauces in our little grocery stores. He's seriously a good dude and his restaurant is amazing!
Guy is seriously a very good guy I remember he visited my hometowns pizza shop and paid for people’s food there great guy I heard that he genuinely enjoyed meeting his fans and signing autographs
Sayfia and Tyler are the only people who can make a video basically about eating at some the most expensive gourmet restaurants that are on the literal Vegas strip and not make it seem like they’re out of touch wealthy people flexing.
@@Ella-gb7no except when they make millions upon millions traveling the world visiting countires 99% of people on earth don't get to do. You're just in a cult of personality
Bro lemme tell ya about José Andrés. We stan him in Ukraine. World Central Kitchen was the only big international org that delivered help consistently. I was fed by them numerous times during the war. As a refugee evacuating, as a volunteer in Irpin upon return etc... That man has my eternal gratitude.
@ Kate - thank you for highlighting Mr. Andres' multiple humanitarian efforts, beyond the glitter & glamor of celebrity chefdom. He is an accomplished culinarian, but even that is overshadowed in his work within humanitarian assistance. Mr. Andres has been first to provide food for communities devastated in disaster; case in point - setting up kitchen/food distribution when trump's response was tossing paper towels (Puerto Rico - telling the people left with nothing 'I'm here! Be grateful!').
Never knew of this guy but I'm glad he's doing great work. I'm sure my mom.migjtbe heard about it from friends that are still in Ukraine. But since she's living in Italy for 26 years I doubt she knows him. Otherwise that's awesome.
I first heard about him when Jacksepticeye raised that 10 mil for World Central Kitchen for Thankmas, and as soon as I heard him I was like HE'S THAT WORLD CENTRAL KITCHEN GUY!!!! And i was glad Saf mentioned it, especially because I know they've been doing a lot of work in Ukraine
I literally took NOTES while watching this video to refer to on my future Vegas trip haha this was SO entertaining and genuinely helpful reviews. WE NEED PART 2
I just simply love the fact that Saf is still salty with the $70 Johnny rocket burger to the point she called them out 4 times in this video… cuz that would be me too 😂😂 2024 edit: and guess what she called them out again in the latest celebrity chef video🤪
This might sound stupid but these kinds of videos help me get over my ED. Seeing people that look like me eat large portions of food and still be happy and not insecure makes me feel so good ❤
Nothing that helps you is stupid, those who judge you for it are. I hope you continue your battle victoriously and watching these types of videos will continue to help!
Bruv, if I didn't read your username, or take a second to think before commenting, I was fully prepared to ask you "how the hell does people eating help you get over your erectile dysfunction"
Absolutely need a part two of the missed restaurants and I know you briefly mentioned a Gordon Ramsay restaurant showdown and that would be pretty cool two You two are truly a comfort channel and I love being able to zone out to your long videos
I love how Safiya ordered a whole bowl of mushrooms at Gordon's resto and then said her favorite part of the beef wellington was the layer between the pastry and the meat, seemingly not knowing it's mushrooms.
READ FOR TOTAL COST! I did the work so you don’t have to: The following food totals are based on the prices Saf and Tyler listed during the video. This does not include drinks (besides discussed alcohol). It also doesn’t include the Starbucks drinks and egg cups they lived off of between meals. You’re welcome. Momofuku- $192 Hell’s Kitchen- $182 Heritage Steak- $163 Bazaar Meat- $380ish (price may be different because she listed Waygu beef between $50-$65 per oz. She didn’t specify how much they bought so I estimated about 2oz and priced it at $65/oz) Bobby’s Burgers- $48 Pizza Cake- $22 Guy Fieri’s Vegas Kitchen (aka Flavor Seven 😂)- $130 Giada- $186 Vanderpump A Paris- $103 Morimoto not including bottomless Diet Coke 😂- $156 New Orleans Fish House- $80 ($12 for the banana cream pie Saf wishes she had gotten) Public House- $61… cheaper than Johnny Rockets! Stripsteak- $185 Best Friend- $146 ($18 for the missed out on short rib tacos) Meals Total- $2034 Tax (8.38%)- $170.50 Tip (if they tipped an average of 20%)- $407 Grand Total- $2611.50 Had they gotten the pie and tacos, add on $38.50 for the two items, tax, and tip. My work here is done. *I do not guarantee the math in my research. Pretty sure it’s correct though!
I love the vendetta against Johnny Rockets and how it set the bar for pricing 🤣 I would love a full length part two of this! And please throw in the Jonas Brothers’ restaurant just for fun 😋
I love the whole "We were ripped off at this one placed and we will hold this one grudge until we die" thing because it's such a vibe. About three years ago my boyfriend and I double dated with my best friend and we went to a churro place that we didn't realise was heinously overpriced, and since then it's become our standard measurement of value for money
My boyfriend and i have a similar thing! we were once charged 30 dollars for 4 bottles of water at a concert. since then, anything less than 30 bucks is a steal
@@simplycrazy4522 omfg really?? at the bmth concert last summer they were giving out water bottles and cups during the concert because of the heat wave (and the surprising amount of people who fainted, including me)
Our one was in London and it was a bottle of water, 2 coffee and 6 churros shorter than a pencil for £30 (about $35) I don’t know about other places but for context even in London you can get a starter, main main meal, and at least one alcoholic drink for £30
Easily one of the best food videos I’ve seen. She articulates every detail of each experience extremely well. So amazed by the composition and execution of this video
Saf repeatedly mentioned the $70 chicken sandwiches is literally me complaining about $20 tiny cut of frozen/burned lasagna I had at a “high end” restaurant
I am a huge fan of Emeril Legasse. Happened to be in Vegas for my birthday, so we booked a reservation at Delmonico's. Had no idea he would be there that night, let alone be cooking. My husband told the waiter it was my birthday, without me knowing. To my shock, Emeril came out to meet me, took a picture, signed a special menu and comped my dessert. He told me he had prepared my meal and wanted to ensure it was perfect. One of my top fave vacation memories. BAM!
That’s so crazy, the same thing happened to me as a toddler in I think Orlando! We were there on me/my dads birthday and he came out and made a joke because little me had gotten plain buttered noodles haha.
I know it has been said already, but I am continuously impressed by how well done, methodical and comprehensive your videos are. Y'all put so much time, love and energy I to making these videos and it really shows and I hope you know how many of us recognize and appreciate this!
It’s been four years since I had dinner at Hell’s Kitchen, and it’s still the best meal I’ve ever had. Prix Fixe menu with scallops (no peas that time), beef Wellington, and sticky toffee pudding, also ordered the lobster risotto since it showed up on the show so much. It was absolutely worth it. My only regret is that I was too full to finish half my sticky toffee pudding. I whistled the Titanic theme as I slid it over to my friend because I never wanted to let go.
For my cousin's bachelorette party, we went to Hell's Kitchen in Lake Tahoe and all enjoyed risotto, beef wellingtons, and various drinks depending on the person. I'm usually sensitive to texture and have always disliked risotto, however it was perfect at HK and paired wonderfully with lobster and truffle. I can still feel and taste the wellington melt across my tounge. We had a hefty bill, but it was well worth it. My biggest regret is not encouraging everyone to order dessert. My cousin and I thought about it, but her maid of honors were like "No we should go party and get dessert like ice cream later." Should've gotten sticky toffee pudding just as a treat for my cousin and me.
Thank you for taking us non-travelers around the world. You two always do a great job documenting your travels and experiences that I know I'll never see or visit like Vegas. Yes, please, do a part two. I would love to see Martha Stewarts's restaurant if you get a chance!
Yes, definitely do a part 2! I just want to take a moment to appreciate how well-researched and edited all of Saf/Tyler's videos are. They are so authentic and retable but still so professional.
Its so funny to see how much you guys loved the sticky toffee pudding, I'm from Scotland and pretty much every mum and grandmother has a different recipe that they have stuck to for generations and most restaurants have sticky toffee pud on the menu, you'd love it
Can concur. Gordon Ramsey’s sticky toffee pudding is life changing. There were conversations at our table about what each of us would do for the sticky toffee pudding.
Can’t wait for Safiya and Tyler to open their own celebrity restaurant: Frankenstraunt, where they serve one signature dish from every other celebrity restaurant
They’d have each dish category mashed together into one fraken dish, and that’s the only thing they serve. You get the frank-apetizer, the marbled main course, and finally the cursed dessert
@@kathvggive me some wellington, a side of Brentwood corn, and a side of wild mushrooms, with short rib/pork belly tacos as appetizers, and a nice creme brulee for dinner I would probably pay $250 for that on like a holiday.
I appreciate soooo much how in-depth Safiya's videos are. They feel like the output of a student who always worked hard & also had the substance to get As on their essays. Quality content!
Thats what I love about all her videos. It’s often like documentaries, and she does a lot of research to get her facts straight before saying something wrong. And I mean who doesn’t love her sweet and friendly personality:)
Yes! They are in-depth but not over sharing/ excessive. Ya know? 😅 She’s mastered the right amount of info & has greats visual editing that makes it fun to watch!
I respect anyone not hating on their partner having a celebrity crush. I know some people would make a fuss and refuse to go because of it. Props to this amazing power couple.
I think there are levels to couples having celebrity crushes lol like saf and Tyler's crushes are acceptable because it's not a "If I had a chance to smash them, I would" lol it's just a genuine sweet crush.... if that makes sense? Like they aren't cray cray about it lol
Wild to think this isn't the average couple experience. The realistic chances of someone actually banging a celebrity crush are slim to none, it's almost like being jealous of fictional characters. Definitely not worth one's emotional energy worrying about such thing.
As someone who’s never been to Vegas, I’ve always been kind of intimidated by it and thought I wasn’t the “right” kind of person to go there, but after seeing your hotels/restaurants videos, I really want to go now! I love celebrity chefs on the food network and some of the places you stayed really caught my eye. These past few videos must have been a ton of work and prep so thank you so much for being super thorough and it felt like a close friend was giving me recommendations rather than someone just doing it for attention. Love you guys!
So interesting how you got inspired to go, even if you didn’t want to before..because I thought the same about not being the „right“ person for vegas and only got confirmed in those two videos 😂 seems pretty overwhelming, so I’m good observing it from a far 😂
@@evillemons0228 honestly omegamart is a little underwhelming because area15 is PACKED and so the line is crazy long, therefore you just shuffle through it in line .. the area15 experience is still fun though! the twilight zone mini golf in the bally’s basement and arcade in the excalibur might fit your vibe as well, hope you have fun!
i hope that you do decide to go, because vegas is for everyone! i’ve been 3 times and i can safely say people from ALL walks of life roam through there. the only downside is the price of everything there (but if you look around you can find places like the wicked spoon buffet in the cosmopolitan, fantastic food and at like $45/person) but if you save up it’ll certain be a lot of fun! i don’t even gamble at all but there is truly so much to do! and if you wanna get cheap souvenirs and go ziplining, hit fremont street!
Morimoto’s was the best food I’ve ever had. Best salad, best ribs, best sushi and best dessert. HIGHLY recommend stopping there, just be ready to pay for it.
I honestly kinda feel that "We paid $70 for three chicken sandwiches at Johnny Rocket's in Las Vegas" is gonna become one of those family legends within the Nygaard/Williams household. They will be telling the tale of the shamefully overpriced sandwiches to their grandkids one day lol
@@iknowisuck6587 I went to Disneyland in 2010 with my family to cheer in the parade. My family wasn't made of money so my parents tried to save money where we could. Naturally, that included bringing food. Near the end of the day, it got really cold and I saw a stand that was selling hot chocolate. Eventually, my parents gave in to my begging and my mom waited in line with me. The price of the hot chocolate was egregious and my mom still grumbles about it to this day.
Definitely a part 2! Are ypu kidding? Seeing you guys eat and enjoy life together is a delight. I love that you make jokes together and laugh together and are just yourselves together. I can only dream of such a life and watching you makes me happy.
As soon as Giada said 'linguinee' and 'fettucinee' as an italian i died there's an 'eh' sound at the end of both of them not an ee sound, but i still love her shows so whatever, i'll take the effort 😭 at least she wrote the pronunciation right on her menu tho
Sticky toffee pudding is one of those things that is completely unique to the U.K. everyone’s grandma or mum has a recipe for it and literally no one else knows what it is.
this video not being sponsored is crazy to me. i appreciate you guys for putting out interesting, unique, and well-produced content for us, but damn, for the cost of these two series (+ the wages of your entire team and time spent editing) i would be more than happy to sit through a squarespace ad
Defiantly do a part two of the restaurants, please. Also, Saf needs to take over a restaurant somewhere for a day like she did the candy and boba place!
this is such a favourite video of mine. i wish there was more content like this on your channel. just you and tyler hanging, living life, chillin and eating food. every other cooking person on the internet is basically a masterchef, so its really refreshing to have this video where there's two people like "we're not experts, we just think its all cool"
I've never in my life felt a desire to go to vegas, it just doesn't seem like my scene but Saf and Tyler makes it seem soo fun that I actually want to visit now.
The last two years i came so much that i took the plunge and moved here from Cali, loving it! Sooo many good food places and delicious drinks (if that's your thing) to try. Plan a visit, it's great, coming from a 30 year old lady lol
IT's super expensive if you want to dine in the good places. I had near front row seats to Cirque Du Soleil wow what an amazing experience. I rode in a limo out of town to some strip club, (was there for a wedding this was the bach party) some Russian chick tried to relieve me of my money with no dance or anything and when I went to walk home because I was lit and had spent too much time in the vip lounge so my buddies all limo'd back to the strip and left me there, the bouncers all crowded me pretty hard and said nope your not allowed to walk back to the strip we don't want to find you dead when we leave our shift.
@@Kamarca Well I got the nickname for doing extremely long Kegstands in college. Stupid I know but people just started calling me Keg cause I'd do like 2+ minutes Kegstands. I was able to put down a 2 liter bottle of beer in like 13 seconds which I guess is world record that I can't prove cause we didn't have video cameras and cell phones recording everything back in the day. So from then on my gamer tags has been Kegstand and I use sloth from the Goonies as my emblem cause well it just fits me I guess lol.
As a Vietnamese who came to the UK 10 years ago, it never fails to make me happy when someone who is not familiar with British food to discover sticky toffee pudding. And better yet, it’s dead easy to make at home and best fresh eaten out of the baking dish hot - much better than the neatly cut versions that restaurants serve you
Would love your recipe as well, but I have a feeling Hell’s Kitchen is popping those sticky toffee puddings out of the oven at least once per minute, so I don’t think you ever have to worry about getting a cold one there
@@monkeymamaa The best recipe is by the British cookery idol Delia Smith. She was given it by the man who invented it. She has a great website with all her recipes. We make it all the time and despite what you might think it is a very light sponge and very easy to make
I went to Vegas just the other weekend and dragged my mom to Guy Fieri's restaurant and it didn't disappoint! It was so good that the next day when we went to Maggiano's I couldn't help but want to eat at his place again. The Alfredo is amazing and the Ktown tacos were addicting. All thanks to this video I found my favorite restaurant in Vegas and we're going back for my birthday so I can eat there again!
It was so pleasing to see them enjoy the sticky toffee pudding! We have a village in the Lake District that is known for them, called Cartmel(the village name)'s Sticky Toffee Puddings! xx
there is a woman in Austin, TX that started making it and selling in grocery stores. It's now sold nationwide. It's the only one I've tried, but it is insanely good and I may have to go to Vegas just to try Ramsey's version. It hits all the the marks for a good dessert.
Also they say in the Part II of their celebrity chef restaurant tour video that they’ve actually *never had fish and chips* … they’ve got some treats in store if they go to the UK for sure.
I will never stop appreciating the treatment Safiya and Tyler give to any topic. The video is fun and informative - but all the work that went in to it (Planning, editing etc) its wonderful! Also I am hungry now.
Full transparency: I love that you guys just love food and aren't foodies. That made me like this video so much more. Thank you for taking the time to rank these.
this is my 4th time watching this all the way through. I've never had a comfort youtube video before but this video just makes me so happy and calm. thank you for the great content as always!
Morimoto is very nice in person, he used to come to Subway on a bike while working on his restaurant in my area. I made him food maybe three times and he just kind of pointed at what he wanted and nodded, always tipped well and I was the only one brave enough to make him food, everyone else would hide in the back so I would take the full tip instead of splitting it.
@@Storm_grey This was years ago but iirc he got two sandwiches each time, usually a club sandwich and a steak sandwich, both with everything on it, I just listed stuff off and he nodded.
Idk if it makes me sound like... for lack of a better word, a dingus, but the fact that you can tell Tyler and Safiya are truly enjoying and appreciating the food they're getting - even if it isn't very tasty to them, brings me so much joy. I have a(n) (ir)rational peeve against people who take expensive and unique dining experiences for granted.
so you appreciate someone saying something is good when its not .. confusing .. I would rather someone just being honest and saying something doesnt taste good if thats the truth
What Safiya doesn’t mention about Robert Irvine’s pastrami sandwich is that the entire time that sandwich is at your table, Robert Irvine stands next to you with a knife, and the only way to keep him back is by distracting him with a shot of tequila and and single Stella Artois
I would love a part two!! this is legitimately incredibly helpful to me as a concierge in vegas who only goes out to fancy restaurants if it's part of an invitation, and naturally we rarely get invites for places this upscale LOL we get shopped by forbes all the time to make sure we're up to their standards and haveeee to remember little details (like the giant pepper mill at Giada's! and that the cheese wheel wasn't actually easy to eat) to get full points, so your descriptions, footage, and personal thoughts are priceless!
oooh... as a concierge, you MUST have some great stories to tell! How interesting! I would want to try all the good places just so that I could know which ones to recommend to my guests. Have a great day!!
I’m a Brit living in the US and Sticky Toffee Pudding is an absolute staple across the UK. I’ve made it for American friends here and they’re obsessed! I think you should try and make Gordon’s recipe on Tyler’s channel
I'm canadian, but i do love sticky toffee pudding. I always get so excited when i see it on the menu for a restaurant. that and bread pudding. both are so good yet so under appreciated in north america as a whole.
I love how ya'll have made this video! It's very well structured and must have been put a lot of effort ~ It's very thorough and even the way you describe the dishes. It's more than the simple "it's nice, it's delicious" common compliment but not as intimidating from experts that describe dishes so complexly
Saf, I absolutely love that you were worried about sounding unrelatable when you said the caviar cone was good and then described it as tasting like a wonton with cheese, which is a very relatable description ❤️
I found a lot of irony in the fact that most people that are watching this probably can't afford to go to the strip or eat at some of these restaurants in the first place anyways. Especially with the last few years of economy turmoil. I took it with humor though and appreciate that Saf does try to keep her content relatable as much as dining at 12 celebrity chef restaurants can be.
@@Sinovian I always wonder about this argument of "most people watching this can't afford it". If all I watched was things I can afford/get to/have time for myself, my entertainment would be so boring. 😅 But I certainly enjoy watching Safiya doing this more than I would somebody who thinks these prices are no big deal so a bit of relatibility doesn't hurt.
@@yarnandleaves9378 oh absolutely! There's definitely a lot of appeal in this, I suppose genre, of entertainment in that we can experience something that isn't necessarily obtainable for us. Safiya does a fantastic job of choosing topics that are relatable, but just out of reach for most of us. Like who wouldn't want to make giant conglomerates of random stuff if you had the funds to? It's silly and fun but not reasonable for most of us which makes it great entertainment. And the fact that she is still down to earth and recognizes that things like prices are a little bat shit insane makes it feel more personable. There is still irony there though, and at least to me it's humorous seeing the dichotomy.
@@Sinovian Y'all are really stuck dwelling in this like Safiya Nygaard Williams herself personally walked over to The Line and adjusted it to make inflation bad for everyone. Some of us like escapism, Karen!

Things i love about this video: the research, the well-articulated reviews, the sweetness between Safiya and Tyler. I'm definitely going to watch this on repeat (just like her other videos 🙂)

In between the constant running between multiple hotels every day and the barrage of rich food I'm amazed you didn't get food and event fatigue even harder than you did. I started to feel like I needed a light salad and a cup of ginger tea after just watching this. Your whole Vegas series has been a great sampler plate of the strip and you did a great job with planning and giving the right amount of information for each location.

Do you ever do the eat with Keith from the the try guys?? I feel like you would love that. They live stream him eating foods from a restaurant and actually give out the menu in advance so people can go get the food and literally eat it together while watching him. Or you can always watch it later and do the same thing!
I sent this video to my mom (who is also a fan of Food Network and Las Vegas), and she was very disappointed you didn't visit Beauty & Essex (Chris Santos' restaurant) because that's her favorite. I told her he didn't count because he didn't have his own show, but she demanded I tell you that you missed out, and who am I to say no to my mom? Suffice to say, I think we'd all love a Part 2!!! i cant get over the amount of work that was put into these vegas videos. it mightn’t seem like it considering they get to go to hotels and fancy restaurants- but they’re out and about and filming all day. i know i’d never be able to go to 3 hotels and explore in a day, let alone do it for 2 weeks! it must be so overwhelming, overstimulating, and just straight up exhausting!
A lot of the famous chefs’ restaurants are really overpriced. But want to give a shout out to Jose Andres and his work World Central Kitchen! They are an absolutely amazing charity that responds to catastrophic events to feed people in need. The chef with him in the short clip you shared is a friend of ours, Jason Collis, whose original contact with WCK was during the Thomas Fire in Ventura County, CA.
Sticky Toffee Pudding is literally everywhere here in the UK haha. It's a SUPER popular dessert and yes it's amazing. It's also not hard to make yourself!
The little clip of Jose Andres's Spanish tv show unlocked the memory of watching it during Spanish class. He taught how to pick out the perfect egg, how they sold special double yolk eggs, and how to make the perfect poached egg

I know Guy Fieri is a bit of a meme, but he will always have my respect. My hometown burned down in a wildfire in 2018, leaving many of my people displaced with no home, possessions, money, etc. He came out to help and fed many, many people.
I'm sad that happened to your town, but I'm happy he did what he could! He also saved LITERALLY 100s of restaurants through Covid
He always seems like a good guy who just wants to help people
My best friend had cancer when we were in middle school, and was a big fan of Guy.
I’m glad too, cause I like how the root point of all their videos is to educate their viewers.

José Andrés is such a good professional and amazing person in so many ways. He's very underappreciated in Spain, in my opinion.
I donated to his efforts in UA, this reminds me I need to do it again, do you know if they're still on the ground?

I did the work so you don’t have to:
The following food totals are based on the prices Saf and Tyler listed during the video. This does not include drinks (besides discussed alcohol). It also doesn’t include the Starbucks drinks and egg cups they lived off of between meals.
You’re welcome.
Momofuku- $192
Hell’s Kitchen- $182
Heritage Steak- $163
Bazaar Meat- $380ish (price may be different because she listed Waygu beef between $50-$65 per oz. She didn’t specify how much they bought so I estimated about 2oz and priced it at $65/oz)
Bobby’s Burgers- $48
Pizza Cake- $22
Guy Fieri’s Vegas Kitchen (aka Flavor Seven 😂)- $130
Giada- $186
Vanderpump A Paris- $103
Morimoto not including bottomless Diet Coke 😂- $156
New Orleans Fish House- $80 ($12 for the banana cream pie Saf wishes she had gotten)
Public House- $61… cheaper than Johnny Rockets!
Stripsteak- $185
Best Friend- $146 ($18 for the missed out on short rib tacos)
Meals Total- $2034
Tax (8.38%)- $170.50
Tip (if they tipped an average of 20%)- $407
Grand Total- $2611.50
Had they gotten the pie and tacos, add on $38.50 for the two items, tax, and tip.

I'd love to see Saf and Tyler do more food and hotel vids, I've been living vicariously through this series
I’m a Brit living in the US and Sticky Toffee Pudding is an absolute staple across the UK. I’ve made it for American friends here and they’re obsessed! I think you should try and make Gordon’s recipe on Tyler’s channel
ooo good idea
I love this idea and I love sticky toffee pudding!
I'm canadian, but i do love sticky toffee pudding. I always get so excited when i see it on the menu for a restaurant. that and bread pudding. both are so good yet so under appreciated in north america as a whole.
Safiya said it had a butterscotch taste to it. Is it heavy on that? I wanna try sticky toffee putting but I hate butterscotch 😩😩😩
@@kairallison agreed!
@@KT-Kaboom you completely missed the point.
Referencing back to their closet organization video, Safiya and Tyler finally took each other somewhere fancy and of course Tyler is wearing gym shorts to said fancy place
As a European who never been to America or Vegas, I thoroughly enjoy you guys going on these trips and try out all the over-the-top-Vegas-things. I love it! :D ♥
Thanks to both of you and your amazing team! :)
Just know that my husband and I are eating our way through Vegas, and this video is seriously the best guidebook. Momofoku was fantastic!!!!!
Things i love about this video: the research, the well-articulated reviews, the sweetness between Safiya and Tyler. I'm definitely going to watch this on repeat (just like her other videos 🙂)
Imagine waking up in a hotel to Safiya yelling “I’m going to Flavor Town and no one can stop me!!!”
I love this comment. It’s wonderful
What I was thinking as well. As a light sleeper someone making such an impassioned declaration in the hallway would definitely wake me. I'm also a morning person though so I might be up already. XD
@@LilianaKali Do you like being a light sleeper?? I kind of wish I was.. maybe
@@cricketandgraham8644 I dislike it. It means I need specific conditions to be met to sleep well and then I can lose that sleep if I have an inconsiderate neighbour.

You two are just fabulous. I hope to run into you in Vegas or on a cruise!!! I’m an old lady who has had 3 major losses in the past 2 years - my husband, my son, and my sweet Westie, Molly 6 days ago🥲. At 76 I am determined to LIVE as long as I can!
So happy that you got engaged! May you have many happy years together❤. You really know how to enjoy life. It’s been my, my husband, and my sons mantra!!!
oh my goodness :( I hope you are doing well today, your attitude is so admirable
kathy you are exactly how i hope to be one day, i hope you have an awesome journey and lots of fun.. u are a blessing!!
God Bless you. I love your joy 🙌🏾
Actually, there is more - ai had a quadruple heart bypass on November 10! I’m doing well and looking forward to travel when I’m well! I had to cancel a river cruise on November 1 as that’s the day I found out I could drop dead any moment! Crazy life, but I’m healing and hanging.
Cheers

Thank you for highlighting the issue of Fois Gras. Its something everyone should be informed about before deciding to eat it ❤
What did she say about it? My heart dropped and I stopped watching as soon as she had it.
@Snigelkrantz it's in the description, with a couple links about it
@@Snigelkrantz She edited the pinned comment to point out links they put in the description about it, and says that she didn't know anything about fois gras before the video.
Safiya the whole time: we need fresh veggies!!
Also safiya: 86 the sprouts 😂
Came to comment the same thing lol
@@KellyMcMahon91 same
I mean, the sprouts are only there for color, really. Better than a heap of parsley, imo.
risking scurvy for content. 🙂
Admittedly the sprouts ain't adding much. 😁
You know it's an expensive restaurant when they don't put prices on the menu. 😂 But mama mia, that's a lot of food & money 😂 Glad you guys enjoyed yourselves!!
These are influencers that absolutely deserve free stuff! 🤑
Which resto/s in this video doesn't have their prices on the menu? :)
This is a better way to find restaurants and the reviews to try then actually looking online! Definitely saving this as a reference for my next trip to Vegas!
Agreed!
I just want to acknowledge the great job in production and editing. This must have been a lot of work!!!
i love these videos so much. as someone struggling to recover from an ED, eating with people through video is something that is very comforting. keep up the great work saf, these videos help so many people in ways that may not be obvious
this is wonderful! best of luck on your recovery, you got this!
This is exactly what I was thinking!!!! Alone I’d be so uncomfortable with even seeing their burgers but watching them eat because it’s…food? So slay.
I was searching for a comment like this. It is so nice to have this video. You've got this!!!
Do you ever do the eat with Keith from the the try guys?? I feel like you would love that. They live stream him eating foods from a restaurant and actually give out the menu in advance so people can go get the food and literally eat it together while watching him. Or you can always watch it later and do the same thing!
@@Steveve4123 i totally forgot he did those. ill have to watch his next livestream :)) thank you
I sent this video to my mom (who is also a fan of Food Network and Las Vegas), and she was very disappointed you didn't visit Beauty & Essex (Chris Santos' restaurant) because that's her favorite. I told her he didn't count because he didn't have his own show, but she demanded I tell you that you missed out, and who am I to say no to my mom? Suffice to say, I think we'd all love a Part 2!!! This video was so much fun and it made me sooooo hungry 😋
I’ve walked by that restaurant a bunch of times before and always thought it looked amazing! Now I’ll have to give it a try next time I’m in Vegas
Ok but Tyler and Safiya feeding each other is so freaking cute 😭❤️

Expensive, but honestly not as expensive as I thought. I mean it's Fine Dining + Brand name.
Looks like I will never be going to any of these places
@@emel8828 What is up with y'all acting like this? This is Vegas prices. If you weren't gonna be able to afford it before, you sure won't be able to after whining about it on someone else's video! Considering how much you love Guy Fieri, I'd love to see you do a Flavortown road trip where you go to places from Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives
Yes at least the ones in the Carolinas
THIS!!!
knowing Saf, i have a feeling that’s already on the list. Along with finding the great food truck winners .
Yaaaas!!!
I really like Guy as he seems to celebrate chefs instead of tearing them down. He also seems to care more about others versus his own ego.
I want Safiya to describe everything's price in relation to 3 sandwiches from Johnny Rocket's from now on.
If a video was comfort food...it would be this video. I LOVED this! A part 2 would be great!
Man idk if anyone else is feeling this way, but as cool and fun as this is to be a job, after watching this video after the first Vegas one and realizing they probably had to film just like all day everyday, I can’t imagine how exhausting this must have been, even though I’m sure you had so much fun. Glad you made it safely and cheers to as always bomb thoughtful and entertaining content!
I hope they took a much needed break after they filmed before starting the editing process
@@itssteph263 Most people who work way harder for less money don't have the option to take a much needed break. I am not saying Saf and Tyler don't work hard, but let's not pretend people who have made more money than many do in a lifetime from filming videos are in that big of a need for a break.

Just don't go during the summer. Deserts are too hot.
i cant get over the amount of work that was put into these vegas videos. it mightn’t seem like it considering they get to go to hotels and fancy restaurants- but they’re out and about and filming all day. i know i’d never be able to go to 3 hotels and explore in a day, let alone do it for 2 weeks!
it must be so overwhelming, overstimulating, and just straight up exhausting!
If you need another travel video idea. You should try doing all the museums in Chicago. There are sooooo many
I cannot believe the Morimoto restaurant sold 4 dumplings for $21! That’s $5.25 per dumpling?!! Insane!
A lot of those dishes are rip-offs but that one stood out to me as well. Gyozas should never be that expensive.
$21 sounds right for a celebrity restaurant in Vegas 🤣
Still a whole lot cheaper than 3 chicken sandwiches at Johnny Rockets! 🤣
Hi, Safiya! I think the current condition about sprouts, and the over use in the culinary world is subject to it being a fresh produce thats been under shortage for the last 10 years or so due to illness and the crops dying out. We've had a national sprouts shortage since about 2012, and only recently are having them by widespread available! Alfalfa sprouts especially. As someone who works in the culinary and agricultural world, I thought i'd try to offer some insight! Cheers from the midwest, and thanks for your lovely content as always!
I am from a tiny country with no desire to travel to the US and I’m not a ‘foodie’ by any means. And yet this has become such a comfort video
