The Food & Culture of Mithila Nagar || Coca-Cola Hunger Hunt || S4 EP3 || VMAG

The journey of Huger Hunt has reached its ultimate climax here at the colorful city of Janakpur. As we reach towards the end of our Janakpur stay, we explore the rich food culture, and express our joy through this experience story. Fulfilling our hunger, we taste the cultural gem of a food--"Maithali Thali" at Navrang Hotel, which is a traditional Maithali cuisine. We also tried Janakpuri Sattu. Then, to compose it all, we visited and had an interactive observation of the Maithali traditions, that the women of Janakpur have brought to life at the Renovation of the Janakpur Women's Development Center.

Those pahadi people who call madheshi indian up bihari should come across this video to understand during ancient time there was no nepal and india at that time there was a state called mithila which was up bihar of india and madhesh of nepal thats why our(madhesh) culture match with up and bihar which doesn't mean we(madheshi)are indian...we also love nepal as much pahadi do...at last being janakpurian i would like to suggest you to visit new opened mithila thali by chef santosh sah at ramanand chowk janakpur dham😊

Mithila's culture doesn't match with UP/Bihar, Rest Bihar/UP follows different culture with a little similarity, Mithila's culture or language doesn't match with Rest of Bihar, some words and cuisine won't make both same or equal. It's the culture of only Mithila region. Even Pahadis' Daal-Bhaat is the most eaten food in UP or Bihar's home, that doesn't make Pahadi culture and Bihar /UP culture same. And at last, it's Mithila's culture not any Madhesh culture.

I don't know why some people get offended when pahadiyas call madeshi indian...or up/bihari...
As a madhesi, I always liked being called indian by pahadiyas. Sometimes, I even used to speak Hindi intentionally near them.
I would rather be called Indian than Nepali. I think of it as, a white person in Zimbabwe being called american. I would take it with both hands... Lol.
Who would want them to associate with a disgusting country like nepal...eeewwww
