Agreed. I’ve heard you say in the past you’re not confident in your vocals, but some of my favorite tracks are your vocal ones. And it’s the vocals that take it where the song needs to go, Telephone for example.
Thank so much. Vocal performances make me feel very connected to the music and I want to do more of them. It's taken a long time to feel confident to do so.
Watching this reminds me of watching my older brother play guitar and wanting to just give up playing because I'll never be as good. Blown away as always.
I hope we're at a stage where when Jeremy says, "It'd be nice if...'cos then you could play a whole show with just..." the makers listen. Thanks for yet more hazy Saturday morning coffee inspiration.
I'm about to buy a spectraphon, so I was listening to demos/walkthroughs as I walked home tonight, and the YT autoplay put this video on next. I listened again (I've watched it a few times before, but never just listened on headphones.) Anyway, it was the first time I connected with your singing. I never got where you were coming from before, but tonight, I felt it. Nice work.
I got an Intellijel Dixie 2+ a couple of weeks ago with the express intention of using it as an audio rate modulator, not as a main oscillator. Last night, I scored an XPO from a trusted seller who I have bought a few modules from, all in absolute mint condition. REALLY looking forward to pairing up the XPO with Qpas and Xpan, modulating XPO and Tiptop Zdsp clock with the Dixie, and bringing Beads, Rings and Elements into the chain. This module looks incredible.
This is my 4th XPO video, so I’m pretty much in on that, but I think you also sold that Manis module for me as well. The harmonics on that bass sounded incredible
Thank you for this wonderful performance. Very nice the way you magically go from module demonstration to just making a song ❤️ Would you mind sharing how you processed your vocals?
For the recent crop I sing while I jam and if what I come up with isn't gibberish I use waves tune, nectar, vocalsynth, and harmony engine on them. If they are gibberish I rerecord them according to the gibberish sounds and use the same chain.
Wow... special vibes. Highly consider doing an album of just breakbeats and you manipulating them. Offer versions with vocals and without. A great deal of djs and parties around the world will be happy customers. Stay blessed, so much respect
already have an E352 and DFAM, looking to add an analog oscillator with vibe (complex, waveshaping, chorusing, FM, etc) as well. If anyone wants to chime in - Castor & Pollux or XPO?? Maybe Bastl Pizza too? DFAM is a little limited on VCO features, E352 I use for crazy wavetable basslines. Castor UI seems to be my favorite but XPO is absolutely awesome!
@@RedMeansRecording i played this gig last night in my dj set....veryy very loud btw. i hope thtas okay with you!!! might be one of my fav tunes in last couple of years listening or watching youtube!!
@@RedMeansRecording ha, I wouldn't blame you even if I did! But nah, I think I'm more likely to sell the modules I do have than purchase any more at this point - but this is a great demo and the stereo goodness of it + the qpas tickles my brain.
it's a treat anytime you do a track with some singing in it. thanks a lot for the videos, they're perfect to chill out to.

Goddam I was not expecting that to turn into such an amazing jam. Like, wtf dude that was incredible! I was deeply moved by that whole track.

You are an incredible gift to the community. ✌🏻
Holy shit, I've watched this video like 10 times in the past and never noticed the last little bit where it turns into that slow jam....Mastery.
Finally a demo of this module that is not just a droning, feedback patched mess. This sounds amazing.
that track was an unexpected head nodder. the rytm track was also pretty stellar
goodness. those performances are so fantastic.
Love when you do vocals. Always a treat. Great video & great jam!
I'm trying to make them a big part of my stuff lately because it feels good.
Vocals are so funky ❤

The key change to start the vox totally F’d with my ears
Such beautiful music.
Amazing as always love the vids ❤
0:24 kicks off sounding like Close Encounters of the Third Kind
To me this sounds like a modern track by Peter Gabriel that he himself never came up with. I’m amazed! Great work 👍🏻
I think I might just have Peter Gabriel baked into my soul honestly.

Great video, Marge ❤
I'm dead. That was so good.
savage jam
really bloody good
How underrated this video is
💯
sounds like an 0-coast for eurorack. great demo!
This is a cool oscillator! Great performance!
Good sound and song,i like psychedelic music ,guauu,me encanta, saludos
Excellent. Love this
Very chemical brothers. The glory days🙌🏻

Bravo!! My good sir. Hot damn. Lol. Some good stuffs right here
second track is just fucking gorgeous man
Please cover the entire Spice Girls anthology with eurorack. Pretty please.
What a track!! Holy Moly!
The songs at the end are the real highlight of the video. I love the twisted spice girl lyrics and vocal processing. Is that the Roland E-4 maybe?
Post processing over improvised vocals!
@@RedMeansRecording What kind of FX did you put on the voice ?
F**K, this all sounds so flipping fat, and deep, and gorgeous. Wow dude.
Bro. You’re Durty Spice. 😎🤘
If you want individual control over the outputs, you could opt for multiple XPOs 😅
Lol
Beautiful. How did you trigger/sequence the xpo?
oh maaaan this was good. I just want to know where the drums were coming from, eurorack? or tracked in other equipment/ableton?
Samples from the bitbox micro i put on there
That track was insane wtf
can you make a simple 5 modular sonically sounding synth with a sequencer for beginner please.
Shit, another great VCO. you again made me want this...... :-)
" Whys it spicy " 🤟

Xpo is the only of those two that can do those things
And pizza
Would maybe trade some features for vibe or UI/immediacy or just ‘sweet spot -ness’. As always, the answer is, ‘both’ ;-)
Cool!
amazing
superb
Hmmm...acid, then soothing. Good, very good.
Does this Friends track exist anywhere else, Spotify maybe?
I could listen to that more than would be healthy.
So spicy.
No but I'm getting enough feedback that it should be a single
@@RedMeansRecording it slaps, yes please
I hope you don’t mind me saying that your voice gives me Peter Gabriel vibes.
That's very ok with me. I love Peter.
Can I use it as two separate OSCs as well?
No
I love the first performance, can we find it in your patreon ?
i am about to buy the xpo. where are the drums come from, jeremy?? still the QD?? amazing tune man!!!
Bitbox micro
@@RedMeansRecording i played this gig last night in my dj set....veryy very loud btw. i hope thtas okay with you!!! might be one of my fav tunes in last couple of years listening or watching youtube!!
hell yeahhhh
Terrific job on this one! How do you process your vocals by the way?
Nectar and vocalsynth in Ableton
how do you sequence the changes in the first vocal tune bit?
ya all the comments are right , these jams are unreal :)
what did you use to sequence?
Either Rene 2 or clank chaos probably
ooooooooo yay
What are you using for drums? Sounds like samples. Really nice.
👾✨
Nick Batt. Is. Here.
what did you use for the drums? Still QD?
Bitbox micro with custom samples
What is producing the drums?
make it funkome some day
where are the drums coming from ?
Bitbox micro with custom samples
everytime.
Watching how to (not) buy a synthesizer followed by this is very confusing.
Just don't buy this. I'm not telling you too. This is a demo of a module.

So, I just do not see the value in this product, but damn do you make it sound good. That jam was awesome.
