- In this video I am going to talk about the actual plight of caste system and the reservation that is attached to it. The pros & cons, the arguments in favor and against are also discussed. Whether the reservation from government colleges and jobs should be removed or not are also discussed in detail after that.

I am dalit and a student , I alaways get recognized for my grades which were in top 5 % in my class ( thanks to my parents who are both teachers) . But you know still I get taunts like " Ohh you are from Sc , You have reservation , your path is so easy .😔
So from my own experiance i got to conclusion that No matter how good you score you will alaways get taunt from atleast one person .
Well, honestly.
One girl from my class, got into top 3 uni with a rank of 10k, while I barely got a uni even with a rank of under 2k.
That's a difference of more than 8k ranks, so it's from experience when people say the path is easy. Because it simply is!
Gen don't even gets seats at 3k, while castes are getting them at 30k!
Now, I also know this one girl, she didn't put her caste as SC but enrolled for open, and she got top 1! Cause she was intelligent and got under 100 rank!
So while there are two sides, I've mostly seen reservation people getting it. I live in a middle class society, and most of the people around me got admissions through caste, as only 30% seats are unreserved. (27obc, 19 St, 9 SC, 10 Ews)
Even if you don't deserve to be taunted, those taunts shouldn't come as a surprise as long as you use your SC identity in any important examination.
If you can score well in exams you don't need to show your SC identity in the first place.

Dude I scored 328 in the GRE (got into the top foreign B school). People be like bhai tujhe top B school me admission mila hai kyuki tujhe reservation mila hoga waha pe. The only reason for me to leave india was the caste system. I faced discrimination right from the childhood. I used to sit alone on my school bench because they didn’t want to be exposed around Dalits . I went to college and faced the similar challenges. I was always a topper right from the school so I was able to get through life easily because I used to study a lot. I’ve been studying in the UK for almost 6 months and I love it here. People here have never judged me because of my caste. All of them are really nice and kind. Never in my life I’ll visit India.

Yes they get free hostel , mess and tution and even get in return for scholarship like upto 50k per year. This sc and st leader loots money and distribute into them in name of scholarship to get votes. Check fees of general and sc and st and cutoff. And now many government teachers are these sc and st they just copy from digest and teach and we poor or lower middle class general don't get proper education in government so our 90% can't achieve and they laugh in classes like hummare toh tumhare ade se kam mein bhi ho jayega ustime mujhe yeh nahi samjha Aaj wohi Instagram par advocate and other fields ke post dal kar likhte hai we word hard. Ganta Hitler ne Jews ke galat kiya balki inko or br ka marna chaiye tha. Masscare of this people's. Sala 3 saal se pareshan hu jitna books nahi padta yeh jaane mein samay chala gaya and political parties ko bhi dekh Raha hu nill vote dogs inko. Saale inko agar pata chal Jaye toh general ya jinka pass doc nahi hai unhe yeh Aisa feel karvate jaise ki yeh topper and humne paap kar rakha hai inse smart and more score apne dampe karne ka. And sala inke kuch relatives toh Canada ke bhi dekhe degree or PhD ke tabhi free chaiye inko India mein sc and st. And koi bole toh bas act lagado.

I'm from SC caste, I live in meerut , i faced discrimination,people of upper caste treated me as outcast ,they always give us silent treatment, they ignore us, they don't value our words , they don't even help us and then they say reservation is the the discrimination .

Zaruri nahi ki Har SC ST wala Ganda rehta ho ya meat khata ho. So marriage should be on the basis of person's behaviour or nature ,not on the basis of caste.
Reservation for schedule caste and scheduled Tribes is justified but other backward caste groups like kurmi yadav,,such caste are just for no reason other than politics.

Yes. Caste was the association on the basis of profession. Newborn had the right to choose any of the 4 professional club ( Brahmin, Kshatriya, Vaishya, Shudra). Even in the same family one was Brahmin, one was Kshatriya, one was Vaishya etc.

It's not a unique feeling. It's one that's been expressed forcefully by the powerful castes from the very minute reservations were implemented. They wanted everyone to forget the reality of casteist exclusion only when it comes to sharing power with the ones they were oppressing.

Did you check the caste composition of doctors or other health professionals?? Hardly 10%( combined sc st ) rest 90% belong to upper caste . Don't cry in the name of merit. We people have had enough hagemony over ancient scriptures, we created castes to serve our upper class interests and whenever anyone challenged our system we applied another logic and one such logic is merit vs reservation. For your information all the major posts are still under the control of upper castes be it courts, bureaucrats, Health professionals, legislators. You want everything limited to upper castes such as us who were born privileged. What about indigenous people such as tribes, Dalits, women, obcs . You want everything for yourself don't forget it will only create unstable societies as left out societies will prefer violence means which people like us won't be in position to live happily.
