Also your both 100% right when y'all said music is what gets us through the hard times. It has for me recently I've had several people close to me pass away one right after another and my heart felt so broken and I felt all alone and listening to music and the words of songs is what comforted and strengthened me. The hardest thing I did was to obey God's leading and sing a song at my own daughter's memorial service but I'm so glad now that I did because several people told me how much it blessed them and helped them.😢 God bless You both and your families always.
Actually the connection between country and Gospel music are very very integrated. Many of the traditional country music artists have recorded one if not more Gospel albums. Reba McIntyre,Connie Smith,Marty Stuart,Bill Anderson,Jan Howard,Charlie Pride,Ferlin Husky, and many other country music stars have recorded Gospel albums and many of them often had very deep church roots. I was introduced to both country and Gospel music simultaneously by my beloved late father.
