I learned about Michael's infidelity story a few years ago and was so very pleased to see how Bill Gaither and others later on invited Michael back into the fold and family - it was a BEAUTIFUL showing and living out of God's will in forgiveness, redemption, and restoration. So impressed with everyone! We are ALL sinners in need of forgiveness and second chances.

Michael, I knew at Christ Church, when i'd visit Aunt Carol and later Uncle Barney(Pastor Hardwick) you were absolutely gifted by God. I was mesmerized by you and your voice became the soundtrack of my young adult years. Thanks for sharing the experience of panic attacks. It will help many others. I understand it well and have experienced it surrounding singing also as well as other times in my life. May God keep on blessing you and yours❤

I enjoyed this interview between old friends. I've been a fan of Michael since I first heard him sing. His breath control is amazing! My favorite version of the vocal band is Bill, Michael, David and Wes, I could listen to them sing Alpha & .Omega for hours
You ought to read Michael’s book he wrote about his life. I had to stop and take a deep breath after each chapter. That man is very fortunate to be alive. I’ve followed him since the first stint he had with the Singing Americans. I saw him at the NQC when he was unemployed. I sat across the isle at Christ Church during JD Sumner’s funeral. Mike has been through soooo much, but never, ever alone because…..Christ had never left him. It’s like Andres’ song: Through It All….I learned to depend upon God’s Word.
I have read it and felt the same. I spotted his problem before it was revealed and loved him right then. My heart broke for him. I was elated when I found he was recovering. Still loving and respecting him.
When I read Michael’s book to shed light on what he’s been through, I think of one of the verses to the song, Why Me, Lord that went: Tell me Lord, if you think there's a way I can try to repay All I've taken from you; Maybe Lord, I can show someone else What I've been through myself On my way back to you.
I love the depth and sensitivity God has put in Michael English. Through all he suffered many in the body of Christ learned to look within before casting a stone. Powerful stuff. Thank you Bill Gaither. Thank you Michael English and thank you God.
