    I love to icefish, there's something relaxing about being in the solitude of nature even if the fish aren't biting.. icefishing in Ohio can be boom or bust in my area as you may only get a few days of safe ice...

    This is where scuba diving in places where picking up sea creatures is permitted is nice - we get crabs, lobsters, scallops. Ice fishing is nice, especially if you have a little shed with a stove, near by the fishing hole. Great job. Have fun on Sunday.

    Pretty cool🙂 the worlds largest lake? Man it must be pretty massive. I grew up about 2 hours south of Lake Michigan and that thing looked like the ocean lol. I have been ice fishing when I was very young. It was pretty fun. We sat in a little shack without a floor that they pulled onto the ice. The wind was pretty crazy. What types of fish do you get in that lake?

    • @Wild-Siberia
      @Wild-Siberia  Год назад +4

      Yes its the deepest lake on earth largest lake in volume. Not area because that would be the Caspian Sea I believe. This lake has too many fish to list and many are endemic but here you'll find Pike perch sturgeon such fish but many other species live so deep that its impossible to fish them.
      Thanks for the questions!

    Here in NE the wind blows a lot. Ice fishing usually involves very low wind chill values, I've seen -45 at times. I know that in Siberia you get that often, but that's too damn cold to be fishing, in my opinion! If its too cold to sit in the back yard and have a beer, its too cold to fish!

    • @Wild-Siberia
      @Wild-Siberia  Год назад +1

    So, why don't you like fish? What kind of fish are these? They look like some sort of catfish. In Canada, we ice fish too. We are allowed lots of perches, sometimes as many as 50 a day (because they are abundant in many places) and they taste great. So, why don't you like fish? lol.

      I grew up in the mountains of the Sierra Madre I hunted mammals for food for years never ate fish in my life until I was too old. I don't eat the fish also because I don't like to take from the lake these fish are an endemic species and all endemic species are very much at risk in the lake because of over fishing. Im not sure on the name im sorry but its not a cat fish.
