a lot of people who mod only account for the cost of blaster and parts when making a modded stryfe. they never account for the time and craftsmanship that goes into it. with my collection, i dont need a stryfe x BUT i agree this is a good deal. tbh lately i dont feel like doing mods that take longer than 30 minutes. we also have to remember that when nerf isn't cheaping out, they have arguably the most solid plastic in their shells.
I agree with you 100% pickle lol , I’m same lately with modding. I took a short break recently modding but with all these freaking cool blasters coming out I had to jump back in to afford them Hahaha. It’s hard being a nerf nerd while supporting 4 kids, house payment and stay at home mom . But I can’t wait to get my hands on one just to see the internals .
@@KernCountyFoamFlingers i've only lipo'd up a couple blasters, and the troubleshooting caused me so much stress. im glad for the knowledge, but there's so much more that can go wrong vs a springer mod not working. so many people are insulting the stryfe x. sure it has faults, but i really believe it's a step in the right direction for nerf. i'm definitely curious about the internals. if modding stryfes helps you fund the hobby then hell yea! we're adults with responsibilities; gotta get it where we can right? keep up the good work, at home and in the hobby.
Yeah a lot of hardcore enthusiasts are going to give me crap too but I don’t think it’s too bad including the battery and charger . I have the omnia it’s great but don’t like the delay in firing
Went to pre order the stryfe in Australia and including postage it came to just over $240. It's cheaper to buy the dz omnia. The omnia has 3 round burst and full auto. I've never owned a stryfe but it does look cool.
nerf did a great thing with this , and compared to Thier other offerings the price is great , but compared to the competition , not so much , if it has select fire it would be a total win from nerf , but with that compared to the competition 120$ is a little steep
I agree , I modded my Omnia and fixed the issues it had and still came out right at $120 with with mods and overall better blaster than the x but I’ll probably still buy one lol just to tinker with it
Good on nerf. I’ll wait for the price to drop.

I said the exact thing in welcome discord and got shit for it. I’m sticking around here. Subbed and liked

Dang that’s crazy expensive , I guess we are kind of spoiled here in the states then . I should really count my blessings
