My friend did taekwondo for so long...like his whole life and I started a few days ago...he is so damn good...I honestly didn’t expect him to be a black belt..idk why he’s been doing for so long so I should know but I’m like embarrassed XD

You know watching little kid sparring in TKD like this is more entertaining than watching the actual TKD in the olympics since they never do anything but pose and throw out stupid front leg sidekicks and try to do ballet instead of fight.

ITF sport sucks and is unrealistic for real fighting. ITF sport is also light contact officially. ITF is just as unrealistic as olympic sparring. Olympic sparring also has better footwork and kick combindations since it emphasizes it. ITF may have better hands but who cares you cannot even use proper boxing bc it is banned.

I think these kids have yet to learn how powerful their technique can be later in life. Tae Kwon Do is mainly kicks. legs are very powerful. once they grow up these little kicks I see will probably be powerful k.o. kicks instead of this kinda cute sparring.
Dude just saying. Taekwondo is just for show. It won’t be that effective at all in a real fight. All those fancy spinning kicks are extra and useless because they’re too slow for a real fight! It would be easy to dodge, wayyy to easy to dodge
@@thrashmetal1017 There’s a lot of useful things these kids can learn from tkwd. The footwork and movement is good for closing space. Obviously the flashy stuff isn’t very effective but a leg kick is definitely useful in a fight

their is a problem here that may affect the children-their hands they are not trained to use. It is false that it is better to train the legs because it is stronger than the arms considering the weights those legs carried everyday and every hour.

WAIT I DIDNT REALIZE THEY WERE BLUE BELTS.... THEY SHOULD BE IN THE YELLOWS NOT BLUE... THEY HAVENT LEARNT ANY GOOD TECHNIQUES YET... I LEARNT MORE TECHNIQUES AT YELLOW BELT THAN THEM
They should also throw more punches and should kick the thighs instead of the body because of the padding
its point sparring so the only way to get points are to kick or punch your opponents chest, and for older students, you can also kick the head also if you were to kick below the hip, that would get you a warning, which would result in a point being taken away

I'm an yellow belt and I do that. Although some people there are only that belt because they've been there a long time and not because of skill.
