I watched every commercial during this video as a way to "give back" to you for all that was taken. So sorry this had to happen to you. You and Cale are adorable and appreciated.
Your “high road” approach causes me to have even more respect for you. You are so helpful and SMART, and now we are reminded of what a good human you are. Thanks for being the beautiful person/couple that you are.
I’m so sorry that this happened to you. I just want to say that I have been so inspired by everything you guys have offered on your page but I KNOW that in order to make my own brand that it requires work from my side! Inspiration is NOT the same as stealing. I wish you all the best and also appreciate all of your vulnerability to help your followers as well. You know your worth and you will always rise against!
Omg I'd be fuming. I'm close to launching my soap business after 3 years of research and testing and we have to pay for product testing in Europe. (Im in the UK) if I found out that someone had plagiarized my entire business I'd go for their jugular.
the fact you didn't dox the thief's pages speaks volumes on your level of professionalism! I'm old enough to be your mom and I can't say I would not have done more if someone was stealing my brand, my verbage, my craft! Keep on keeping on you guys, your vids are great and super inspiring. I'm so sorry this happened to you. I started stamping my soaps pretty early on in my business and I think that can really help deter others from stealing photos. It is more time consuming, but the peace of mind is worth it.
They've already changed everything, but I was still able to find the company you were talking about and holy sh... the audacity is shocking. I'm so sorry this happend to you!
That is so creepy. It is true when someone invades your life there is a feeling of being physically and emotionally attacked. You two seem so real and sweet, I’m sorry this happened to you.
As a business woman myself, I`m sorry that this happened to you guys! I`ve learned that there are lots of people on RUclips who download videos that don`t belong to them, and then reload those and make money from the ads. In your case, it`s entirely possible that the culprits like you guys enough to mimic you and simply add their own contact info for sales purposes; it`s possible that they took the other photos from someone else, and don`t make any products at all. In other words, it may all be a scam, in which they fake-sell, and make lots of money from people who don`t want to leave home to shop at brick-and-mortar locations or are just in another country. This is why I myself only shop in the business locations near me; plus- if i need to return or exchange something there`s no issue with going back to the store. Some of what I`ve learned has been through fails, other stuff is through college, and the rest is through people like you.
Steampunk, having a COPY of their entire website (and social media), their product names, their descriptions, their pics, their about us biz info, etc., etc., is NOT MIMICKING or even flattery or influence - it's called intellectual property theft!! And there is NO EXCUSE for it.
Tiffany, I'd say different, but not better. It's sad the thief had no consequences other than taking the stuff down - and probably moving on to the next site to steal. Sounds like Jerika (and her hubby) didn't even get financial compensation for anything, such as tech upgrades, maybe paying someone to help fix all their stuff, etc. So that's not cool. :-(
I have had this happen to me as well but not on a complete copy of everything. I started teaching soap making workshops a few years ago and discovered that several people taking the workshops were just attempting to copy what I was doing. One person actually did use my product in her pictures to announce the opening of her business. She had also been demanding I give her all my supplies and other info. I couldn't believe how bold she was and how angry she became when I called her out on it. I really enjoy your videos. I find you so honest about all the ups and downs of this business which is a great encouragement when I get discouraged and you have great tips that inspire me.
Thank you both for posting this. While I was aware of the protections afforded to intellectual property from the moment of creation, I never dreamed that someone would go to these lengths to copy a successful shop. I am considering opening an online shop in the next 9-12 months, and I can't thank you enough for using this horrific experience to warn the rest of us out here - I will definitely take this into account when I start my branding. Thank you again - for everything that you both do.
“Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery that mediocrity can pay to greatness.” -Oscar Wilde I’m trying 2 look on the bright side here, but I’m kinda TICKED. I had to learn yrs ago to be gentle in my approach. What I’m really trying 2 make u do is laugh...😂😂🤣 Sometimes, I gotta laugh at stuff & then take care of business. 🥰
That's actually half the quote, the rest is the best part as it's the jab “Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery...that mediocrity can pay to greatness.” :) can't leave the burn out, lol. Oscar says nothing that doesn't include a backhanded insult.
@@joan-lisa-smith that’s how my Grandma is sometimes & it’s SO FUNNY! 😂😂 I gifted her a beautiful infinity crochet scarf for the cool autumn season. It was mustard yellow-orangish golden color. Really pretty, so I thought! 🤦🏽♀️ She said, “Oh woooow, how nice, it’s so cozy & warm...u sure know how to pick an unfavorable color” 🤣😂😂 May smile quickly went to my mouth dropping WIDE open, to hysterical laughter! 😂
@@EverythingTammy Ha ha! Good you can just brush it off and see it as just how she is and be ok with it. I bet she's rubbed a few the wrong way over the years with that as some can be really hurt by a flippant remark. Some can be so good at it you say "thanks!' then as you walk away in your head you slowly start with "wait, was I just insulted?"
@@EverythingTammy Wait, did you edit that? My gawd do I need a coffee...I swear you just put the first bit "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery". Oops, no clue how I missed that sorry. Ok so now we both said it so there's more chance Jerika's thief will read it then and realize how stupid they were.
I have used you for a lot of inspiration on launching my business for packaging and other things but I would never steal your photos and product information to use as my own. You have been such an inspiration and huge help in making my soap business dream come true
Wow, this really sucks! What a smarmy thing to do. I haven't started my business yet, but I am fearful of this happening to me, too. Thank you for giving us some pointers on how to stop them in their tracks!
The fact that they went to great lengths of laziness amazes me. Researching for inspiration is one thing but at this level it’s copyright. You have every right to be more than upset. I feel your frustration through the screen. My heart goes out to you and we are all forever grateful for helping us all on our journey to soap making.
You guys are a true inspiration. I'm very upset this has happened to both of you, you're so generous in sharing your experience to support other small businesses to also grow by providing valuable advice to problems you have had to find solutions to. Some people simply aren't creative at all and will rely on stealing other people's ideas instead of being original. These types of companies that only know how to copy and are lazy to have their own products and ideas are disconnected from the source of inspiration, companies like that don't last long, and don't go far. I admire the two of you and would like to thank you for sharing your wisdom on this channel. BIG TIME FAN! CHEERING for QUENCHSOAP!!! See you guys at the top! (probably at a tradeshow)
Thank you for sharing! I'm just getting started in my own soap business. I'm learning from you and others, and as my shop is in temporary hiatus while we move, I've realized that I need to do more to set this up like a real business when I reopen. Advice like this is timely and appreciated.
UGH! What a shitty thing to do, especially since your channel is such a great learning tool in regards to having a small business. So sorry that you guys had to go through this. Sending you all the support and love ❤️
I'm learning so much from them, I am so glad they are taking the high road and protecting their business but also moving forward and not letting this person deter their true selves.
I am so proud of how you both handle this situation. It confirms about the kindness and good-nature that was so typical of Canadians! I am glad to notice there are still kind people out there and you two are a great example!
I had a business years ago where I had a pretty unique product that sold very well. Well, how I found out that someone stole my name and products was very odd to say the least. My brother was a website designer and he contacted me to let me know that he was hired to build a website for someone who had my exact business name and sold the same products! I was furious. As you said, I spent a LOT of time thinking, brainstorming and perfecting my product and then someone took it all. I know this happens a lot especially in today's world. You gave great advice and I wish I had handled things differently, I probably would still be doing the same product and then some.
Thanks for all that you do, you help those of us that are thinking of starting our own businesses, soap or not. It is not easy, getting good clear advice that works. I hope this does not deter you...you are appreciated 🙂
What a graceful way to handle a terrible situation! I respect you both so much for your solution to the Identity theft of your creative business images & content! That would be so horrible! Hope this never happens to you again!
Some great advice left on your comment sheet.... so proud of your progress and processing through this bump in the road....”If it doesn’t kill You.... it makes You stronger”....
This is so weird... There's an IG page that I've reported for using other soaper's photos and videos to advertise their soap making classes without permission - passing the work off as their own. But this is some next level stuff. Did they actually have those products available for sale or did they just advertise they had them? That would've been interesting to find out. Like they take your money and never send the item?
How horrible... Keep being kind and original as you are. People should be thanking you both for all the guidance you give in coaching on making soap. There will always be a thief around the corner unfortunately, but what's amazing is that you are teaching small businesses to improve and not to let this happen to them. Your teachings will help others. Keep being you because we Love you ❣
I think you guys are such good-hearted and kind business owners. It's such a shame you've had to experience someone profiting off of YOUR hard work, but I think you both have handled it BEAUTIFULLY, and are very courageous to share your unfortunate experience with others in an effort to help other small business owners avoid having this happen to them. I can imagine most people simply shutting EVERYTHING down, so kudos to the two of you for remaining so helpful, open though more cautious, and not allowing this to make you bitter. I wish you the very best of luck with your hard work and unique & beautiful products. You will undoubtedly capture many people's hearts with your positive attitudes as you're both obviously very genuine & good people.
I never thought about this. I will have to make sure I water mark my pictures. I took time off and completed an Associate's in Business Management. Now I am getting my website updated and making sure my inventory is correct.
Hi, I am a new follower and this video caught my eye. I am so sorry this happened to you, it is so unacceptable! I have a business, but during covid, I put it on vacation for personal reasons and decided to start it up a few months ago because a friend asked to try it again. I was so interested in making the shower steamers and came to look for a good video, and I found you!! This is scary on all levels, and I am watching and responding as I prepare for church. I want to thank you for your honesty and transparency. For just giving this information about copyright (I know about this as I do some graphic art LOL). But it is sad that someone would copy word for word and use your pictures is just horrible. As you said, just move forward, and watermark your products and images... thanks for all this great advice!!! Wishing you continued success and I am so glad I found you guys!! xoxoxoxo Mags ♥
Thank you soo much for this video. I made my first bath bomb last week and have illustrious dreams of having a little bath bomb business and I’ve spent the last few days writing a list of ALL the things to consider!!
Well you rised above this persons behavior and that says a lot about your heart and character! Bravo!!! Much continued success to you in the future! ~jc
Thank you so much for all you are doing for me as I am trying to start my own soap making business. I really appreciate all you are doing for others like me. You and your husband are doing great work.❤❤❤
Bless your hearts! I have made a living and raised my children as a single mom of 3 on my art, I wish I could have been as gracious as you when people copy and steal my hard work!!! That being said, thanks so much for all the work you two do, I'm going to add a few soaps to my holiday booths this year, I have learned so much from you lovelies, keep being you! Hopefully that person was a very young person (teen?)that did not know better. If they were an adult that stole intentionally, I feel bad for them, they will fail in the end and will never truly know how you feel inside to make something of yourself! Keep up the videos! Can you, or have you done one on just cool patterns, designs in the soap? I'm working on pretty now, lol!
You can also @ with your name around your products. Ive seen many shop owners do this on thier photos. Its another way to keep others from snatching photos on instagram and facebook. It doesnt even have to be lettered large. Thought id share this with you!!! When my shop grows up i want it to be similar to yours but sill my own content!!😉💗
Thank you so very much for this essential business guidance/advise. As a new business still in the works I will take all this into consideration in creating my own website, as you've said the point is to be your OWN business, not mimick someone else's.
I hate this happened to you both. People need to be original and come up with their own ideas! I know it was hard to be calm, because you put all your hard work into your business and for someone to come and steal it, will definitely make you very upset!! You all have definitely inspired me, keep grinding! I love your products and videos!❤❤
Yer right, the epitome of laziness not to do there own work. Not nice! There's those few that ruins it for others!! Sorry this happened to you, you've both worked really hard and share so much only to have someone do this to you. 🙁 I for one thank you so much for sharing as always, it is very much appreciated!! Hugs to you both. 💞
My jaw literally just hit the floor... glad you were able to recover and rise above. And thank you for sharing your experience! Imagine if they'd applied a fraction of the effort to their copying from your site to place on theirs, on their own website. (sorry, badly phrased but you get what I mean)
This is awful, you are so generous in sharing your experiences etc. I saw the same thing is happening in gardening channels from UK where people are stealing photos, content word for word and are using them for their own. I don’t have a channel I follow several and was shocked because people like I learn from people like you. I am glad you were able to trace them because the ones I heard hadn’t. Who knows maybe they were are stealing from other sites. We’re you able to report them too.
I hate this. My husband and I own a small candle & soap shop and I absolutely love watching your videos because it’s so encouraging to see a successful couple living their dream and the tips and insight you give are extremely helpful, and they’re just fun to watch, so please don’t be discouraged!! There are so many people out there that love you guys, your products, your videos!
You have been so inspiring to me and many others. Must have been horrifying. My heart and support to you both! I know from experience how difficult it is to come up with your own brand and logo. I'm in disbelief of how someone would think it's ok to steal your whole site. I started ordering some of my scents and colors from fizz fairy as per your recommendation but change most of the scent names to be my own. I also have ordered a few things from new directions because of your suggestion. You are so willing to share and offer suggestions. I thank you for sharing and hope this never happens to you again or anyone else for that matter. I hope it doesn't discourage you in the future I enjoy your videos so much your vibrant personality your vibe is just amazing 💙💙 A HUGE THANK YOU 2U BOTH 💙💙
One thing my previous significant other had to do was put a watermark embedded in his family's farm's webpage.... it wasn't easy to learn how, but after the 1st learning phase, it was simple to adapt it to his billing paperwork etc, and that carried over, giving unity to his farm papers..in the end worth every grey hair I got out of it!!😁💖😎even more so because he based his "watermark" off his great great grandfather's original *branding iron*, which everyone had thought lost to time!😉 THAT ALONE was worth every grey hair.😘💖👏 his father's chest puffing out was worth a puffed chest and then some! Knowing that the two brothers were finally on *at least equal* footing, priceless!
Wow! This is so mind boggling. I am sorry that you had to go through all of this especially your instagram timeline. You know this is very enlightening and I never thought of this happening. Also, I don’t think I will ever use “copy cat” to describe myself ever again. I am not a copycat but when I have been complemented on my products and people tell me I am very creative I usually casually reply nah not really I just copy cat. For one I guess I just need to learn to accept compliments better. I do see ideas and products that I like, either the look or the ingredients but never ever have I taken someone else’s work from them and I never will. I may get ideas and grow those ideas into my very own unique products but never take from others hard work. Thanks for the information. I will definitely be using this and post over my product photos. I agree with SmallSuccesses…you guys are a true inspiration of how an honest business should be. Much love and success to you both!
I’m sorry this happened to you. I just started watching your videos. I have a 15 yo daughter who is just starting her soap making business. We learned a lot from you two and I thank you for your insight. I researched if it’s legal to copy someone’s website. I found out you can file a Digital Millennium Copyright Act and have the fictitious website removed off the World Wide Web point blank period. I mean the actions of these people or person is the equivalent to a stolen identity case. I’m sorry I had to vent a little lol. Anyways Keep Winning, Smiling, and Creating Content With Love❤️ & Thanks for Sharing!
It's sad people go to great lengths to try to make money. It's sad really. Hope in the future you can protect you're business. I wish you both lots of success because you deserve it.
So sorry this happened to you. It is always shocking to hear this. This exact same thing happened to my friend and here Ikebana floral business.a few years ago :( Thank you so much for your fabulous channel. You have helped me and others so very much. Xoxo
I can’t believe someone would try to steal your photos I’ve got to learn how to watermark all of my photos thanks for bringing this to the forefront another thing how did you find out that somebody was copying you do you have any advice on how to check to make sure someone else is not stealing your content thanks.
It is unethical to copy someone's work .By no means anyone should be using someone else's pictures for promoting their own product and business .But I would like to point out here that 1. There is no harm if anyone uses transparent stickers with similar fonts .There are lot of blogs on the internet by people who have been in marketing business who say that having transparent stickers with simple fonts is best to use as it does not overshadow the product. Secondly a raspberry mint scrub for example can be named by anyone a rasberry mint if u choose cause that is what it is ... Anyone can make products using hemp oil if they choose to .. there is no harm in my opinion ..anyone can have a vegan body and bath line and call it mention it so if it is? ..there are no restriction .. The point what was wrong is stealing pictures and content word to word as mentioned by Jarika.. The videos are put up to inspire people and teach them how certain things can be made and how good they look The recipes are shared so people can make the same product.people will want to make and if it turns out good they will try and sell . Infact there must be so many I'm sure who must have made products very similar to the QUENCH products to sell because it's all there out on the net ..Its good marketing for QUENCH it's good inspiration for viewers ...it works both ways .. To earn goodies you have to get a little burnt somewhere ... I have written this in good faith for QUENCH but at the same time wanted to bring to light that there are no restrictions on few of the things as I mentioned earlier.
Wow!! I am so sorry this happened to you! I watch your videos every week and am so inspired by your creations. Your products are beautiful by the way! Stay strong and carry on. I wish you guys nothing but success!
I am so sorry what you had to go through with this unpleasant situation...but you both must be commended for your professionalism and for sharing with us your experience and what we can learn from it and what we can do about it...so thank you...l love your videos and everything you share your kindness and your wonderful fun tips....Jerika you are great one of a kind...thank you and l wish you both nothing but the best going forward!!
Your website is beautiful and something to be inspired by :) So sorry to hear that someone thought it was ok to do what they did. There is no excuse and it is wonderful to hear that they have taken it all down xo
This video needs to be shared and this topic needs to be openly discussed because there are a lot of good people out there who are really helpful with their content and creation that may be turned off to continue to help. This should also be shared to show copycats that the truth comes out. This is illegal and that's where I hope you will take this. Thanks for turning your experience and turning it into a learning curve for all of us!
I have experienced this too many years ago. I found there was a difference between someone who loved your ideas so much they wanted to use it as a model vs item by item duplication stealing. Thanks for sharing your experience in such a positive and helpful way. I loved how you pointed out the wrong actions in a calm and focused way to cause strong and positive change not seek to "get someone back" for their actions.
Disabling right-click will only stop people who don't know much about computers. In the end, thieves are gonna thieve, just have a DMCA drafted and on stand by that you can use to send their hosting provider or social media if they don't respond or take action. You handled the situation very well, good advice all around.
It just make me SO angry that you work so hard on your brand and business and then someone just steals them. It’s so annoying and unfair! Sorry that you guys have to go through this. Thank you for shearing with us.
Sorry to hear that its a shame how a person can do something like this,I have really enjoyed the youtube videos you have made. You guys keep it so real and thats refreashing keep up the great work. From the land down under .
I admire how you handled this, I am building a small business in Kansas and I have found inspiration in others like yourself. However, and this is a huge however.. I have never, nor will ever directly copy anyone. I would feel honored if someone drew inspiration from me, but again we owe it to ourselves to be individuals, work hard, build ourselves up with our own design, brand, creations... you can’t be proud at the end of the day when you’ve stolen from another. You guys are great, I just found y’all and I hope you keep up the good work!!! I use Shopify too, love it. ❤️
Wow, that is a whole new level of lazy! I have always been concerned about someone doing that with my photos of all of my products! Now I know what to do to protect my self. Thank you so much for sharing your story with all of us
I'm happy you've handled it so smart and professional! And thank you so much for this video so I can think now how to protect my photos and knowledge. All the best guys!
I’m sooo sorry you guys had to go through this. I noticed the other day that you had added watermarks to your site. Now I know why. Good job for looking on the positive side and what you can learn from it.
So sorry this happened to you beautiful people, definitely a violation of your personal self not to mention your whole company. It's lovely to see you both holding your heads high and moving on and a new creation. All the best to you both and much success for the future. Maybe one day put all your photos back up with a water mark for you journey Bless you both from Australia
I am just beginning to see their videos and they have made me cry for this situation, I cannot imagine the suffering they must feel when they realize that in this world there are no people like them so dedicated to love their work. I warmly congratulate you for being so honest and professional and at the same time for those little ears of how we can do so that it does not happen to us in our businesses. I love your teamwork. God Bless you and may you fulfill all the desires of your hearts.
The fact that they took it down without legal fees, is great!💖👏👏👏well done! One enemy you didn't have to make! You may neve be besties or even be able to associate, but at least you haven't created a complete out and open enemy, or perhaps the kudos should go to them? For having the common sense to realise what needed to happen as soon as you called it out, but at least it's taken care of quickly and quietly. Thank you for discussing this problem only. I highly doubt you'll be the only one to experience this problem.
Hi Jerika! Someone already mentioned a company on Etsy that looks eerily similar to your company, but in case you didn’t see it, I thought I’d mention it again because it does look suspect. Its even called quench, it’s just spelled different. It’s called kwenchbathandbody. I’m so sorry this has happened to you guys. It infuriates me when ppl steal someone else’s creativity/hard work etc. it’s wrong. I’m so impressed with the way you handled this. Thank you for giving so much to this community.
Wow!!! Not even a little bit of originality. I don't understand how someone can be proud of the business they run when none of the ideas are their own. Sad.
It hurts my heart for yall! I wish you all the best. Thanks for being an inspiration to us starting out. You have no idea how helpful yall are! Thanks!!
On your Cannon camera (or any DSLR) you can also watermark you photos digitally. Simply go into your camera settings and enter your name/company name, copywrite 20XX. Every photo online will now have this mark when someone look for the info, incase it does go further (e.g.court).
I am so sorry this happened to you. You are so sweet, and open, and honest about everything you do, and it is obvious how hard you work. I wish you both the best and am happy to hear the issue has been resolved. ❤️
I have seen this happening to so many people. Their images are all over, different websites and on products that they have never endorsed or used. Many of this is with companies in China and other countries. But if it's here in the US. You have better chances of getting things worked out. Thanks for sharing your experience 🥰
Jerika and Cale- you guys are awesome. You are my inspiration ❤️❤️❤️❤️ thank you for sharing your experience so that those of us planning to „formulate“ our business can learn from you. Love you guys a lot . ❤️❤️❤️❤️
You should mention the company! This is not good and this is Unfair! I will never ever steal’s someone’s hard work. You inspired us, you deserved the credit!
Thank you for posting this! I'm definitely going to go back through my pics and watermark them. It's said that people don't want to work hard and they would rather take the easy way and steal people's property to make money.
You are so level headed Jerika. I don't know if I could be so. You guys are great..some people have no end to how low they can go. Come on people, think for yourself
Hey jerika I’m so sorry this has happened to you 😟 you inspire me so much with your videos and all the information you give out 😊 I’m so glad that you’ve got this sorted and you’ve done something about it I hope you and kale are all good ❤️
I was shocked to hear what happeed to your company, really don't know what I would have done in your place (not the patient, forgiving kind here), but really glad that everything worked out "easy and fast". Thank you for your amazing open-minded advices, suggestions. .. I'm learning from you every single time, even this terrible happening was a huge lesson, probably for many of us. Wish you all the best! Waiting for your next video!
Before you mentioned watermark I was going to suggest that. I literally just started watching your channel and I like how open you are but you may be a little too open, eg. when you stated on air how much $ you made...you should just say it was a good sales day and leave it up to the imagination of the viewers to guess how much. I like both of you, I can feel your genuineness through the screen❤!
Omg you guys, that is so scary! A business website and social platform are so much work and it’s a life form of its own. I’m so scared of this happening to my hard work too. I would be sending the person who notified me a really nice thank you package. Your channel and products are so beautiful, the hard work shows😉.
About to watch but I see one thumbs down less than 5 min after you uploaded this, must be from said thief, lol,
I have to say that I am impressed on how you handled this situation, So professional.
the fact you didn't dox the thief's pages speaks volumes on your level of professionalism! I'm old enough to be your mom and I can't say I would not have done more if someone was stealing my brand, my verbage, my craft! Keep on keeping on you guys, your vids are great and super inspiring. Omg I hate when this happens, can’t believe people can’t take their own photos.
It’s theft & fraud + dishonesty
I'm so sorry this happened to you.
I started stamping my soaps pretty early on in my business and I think that can really help deter others from stealing photos. It is more time consuming, but the peace of mind is worth it.
Great idea!!!
They've already changed everything, but I was still able to find the company you were talking about and holy sh... the audacity is shocking. I'm so sorry this happend to you!
Wanna drop the name👀👀just curious
That is so creepy. It is true when someone invades your life there is a feeling of being physically and emotionally attacked. You two seem so real and sweet, I’m sorry this happened to you.
As a business woman myself, I`m sorry that this happened to you guys!

Y'all definitely handled it better than I would've. They'd have heard from my attorney by sun up. 😂
I'm more like you. In the end, I have to believe that Jerika handled it best.
To steal when you share so generously is most unforgiving. My gosh!! Deplorable!
“Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery that mediocrity can pay to greatness.”
-Oscar Wilde
I’m trying 2 look on the bright side here, but I’m kinda TICKED. I had to learn yrs ago to be gentle in my approach. What I’m really trying 2 make u do is laugh...😂😂🤣
Sometimes, I gotta laugh at stuff & then take care of business.
I gifted her a beautiful infinity crochet scarf for the cool autumn season. It was mustard yellow-orangish golden color. Really pretty, so I thought! 🤦🏽♀️
She said, “Oh woooow, how nice, it’s so cozy & warm...u sure know how to pick an unfavorable color” 🤣😂😂
May smile quickly went to my mouth dropping WIDE open, to hysterical laughter! 😂
@@joan-lisa-smith What’s the other part missing? I have the same quote as u have. 😂😂 & u are so CORECT...the best part is the backhanded compliment 🤣
I'm sorry this happened to you. Thank you for all the great advice. But, please, don't "thank" this person. There is such a thing as being toooo nice.
I follow that channel just to watch their theft .......I’ve notified a few makers of their photos being used for their “classes” promotion
How horrible... Keep being kind and original as you are. People should be thanking you both for all the guidance you give in coaching on making soap.
There will always be a thief around the corner unfortunately, but what's amazing is that you are teaching small businesses to improve and not to let this happen to them. Your teachings will help others.
Keep being you because we Love you ❣
Im speechless. We’re they thinking they could get away with doing business like that ? I’m very sorry that happened to you guys.
You all have handled this with grace and because of that you will continue to flourish. God bless y'all
Hi, I am a new follower and this video caught my eye.
Love this channel! You have inspired me so much :)
Well you rised above this persons behavior and that says a lot about your heart and character! Bravo!!! Much continued success to you in the future! ~jc
I am so sorry to hear that this have happened to you guys. Thanks for shearing this.
All the best, and Merry Christmas!
I for one thank you so much for sharing as always, it is very much appreciated!!
You are so giving and you share so much to help others. I am so upset this happened to you.
I hope it doesn't discourage you in the future I enjoy your videos so much your vibrant personality your vibe is just amazing
💙💙 A HUGE THANK YOU 2U BOTH 💙💙
I would love to see how you guys package everything to go to event shows - easiest things you’ve found to do
One thing my previous significant other had to do was put a watermark embedded in his family's farm's webpage.... it wasn't easy to learn how, but after the 1st learning phase, it was simple to adapt it to his billing paperwork etc, and that carried over, giving unity to his farm papers..in the end worth every grey hair I got out of it!!😁💖😎even more so because he based his "watermark" off his great great grandfather's original *branding iron*, which everyone had thought lost to time!😉 THAT ALONE was worth every grey hair.😘💖👏 his father's chest puffing out was worth a puffed chest and then some!
I’m so sorry this has happened to you 🥺😬
I only found you yesterday but have binged you all night and day you have been very inspiring 😊
They remove the watermarks. It was done to another Soaper. People have no shame.
I think you can image search in google to see where others have used that too it won’t be the same but can be useful
Wow...it takes a while to write up descriptions..yall are certainly gracious in your response kudos for getting it taken care of quickly and quietly
Disabling right-click will only stop people who don't know much about computers. In the end, thieves are gonna thieve, just have a DMCA drafted and on stand by that you can use to send their hosting provider or social media if they don't respond or take action. You handled the situation very well, good advice all around.
Yes attorneys are awesome to help stop thieves!
It just make me SO angry that you work so hard on your brand and business and then someone just steals them. It’s so annoying and unfair! Sorry that you guys have to go through this. Thank you for shearing with us.
Y'all gave such great advice here. Thank you for sharing your story!
Wow! So sorry that happened to you!! Sheesh! You handled it so well. That is why trademarking is so necessary too!
You are the 2nd person that I follow that this has happened to. So sorry it happened to you with how much you give to all of us.
I'm so sorry this happened to you. Not fair. Glad to hear the issue got resolved. Keep up the great work!
So sorry for what happened to you, I respect you even more now and you inspire small soap makers like me. I hope your sales increase 1000x
Such a terrible situation but you both handled it with such Grace! Love your channel/content!!
Wow, that is a whole new level of lazy! I have always been concerned about someone doing that with my photos of all of my products! Now I know what to do to protect my self. Thank you so much for sharing your story with all of us
Wow that’s horrible you have some people that try to take the easy way...You guys are amazing for sharing
Sorry you had to go through that but thanks so much for the advice on protecting ourselves from this 💖
The fact that they took it down without legal fees, is great!💖👏👏👏well done!
I never thought about this! When creating my brand! Thankyou guys!
Thank you for this video and I am so sorry that you experienced such thievery! I make soap but not as a business. I learned so much.
Omg!
Wow!!! Not even a little bit of originality. I don't understand how someone can be proud of the business they run when none of the ideas are their own. Sad.
I tried an Etsy search for them and they’re not on there anymore.
@@mysticmaidensoaps2960 Its still there but it says they are taking a break. You have to type the name with no spaces.
@@alis9840 I’ll try that. Thank you.
Hey jerika
I’m so sorry this has happened to you 😟 you inspire me so much with your videos and all the information you give out 😊 I’m so glad that you’ve got this sorted and you’ve done something about it I hope you and kale are all good ❤️
I was shocked to hear what happeed to your company, really don't know what I would have done in your place (not the patient, forgiving kind here), but really glad that everything worked out "easy and fast".
Thank you for your amazing open-minded advices, suggestions. .. I'm learning from you every single time, even this terrible happening was a huge lesson, probably for many of us.
Wish you all the best! Waiting for your next video!
You guy are sure handling this a lot better than I would be!
Just subscribed to the channel because you inspire small soap makers like me
