- In Los Angeles, Jewel's Catch One Disco venue holds "Das Bunker", a goth industrial/ebm dance club. Das Bunker is unlike any other club experience and has an extremely unique crowd with an eclectic fashion and music taste. This video was taken on Nov. 27. 2009, but the club is still active and raging as of today, Nov. 14. 2011. My friend Vince is spinning poi while Zach and I dance in the background with others. The song is confirmed as Northborne "Brutal".

+pyrostrike uk ...totally right dude. I started attending goth clubs like 10 years ago and i loved the fact there's no fights, no shootings or douchebags bothering the girls. Just everyone out there having fun and dancing. i'm a guy and i tend to admire the beauty of goth girls but i don't bother them. i tend to keep to myself since i'm not a goth myself but i enjoy the crowd and the scene.

Just so you know, there's three rooms: The Industrial/Aggrotech/EBM Dancefloor (Main), the Goth dancefloor (2nd level), and the Power Noise room (also second level).
I use to go all the time back in the day. Gosh I miss going out sometimes!
Yeah the club is still active and it's in Los Angeles. They have 3 different rooms with 3 different types of music. I consider it a Goth-Industrial club, and I can care less if you disagree with me. The song is confirmed as "Brutal" by DJ Sisen.

One of the best times I went to Das Bunker was in early 2006.After dancing,2 girls(who were no older than 18 year old HS Seniors or 1st year in College and I was in my 30s at the time)approach me,grab my hands and lightly pulled me back to the dancefloor saying,"dance some more".I remember I didn't say anything and gave them a "thank you smile".The 2 girls didn't look like they were into the industrial music scene and were like possibly the "popular girls" at their school and only wanted to get out of the house and do something.I do give complaints to this music scene I've been into since the early 1990s when I was still in HS,it does have the best dance rhythm I've seen in last 20 years.

Hard to believe that the owner of the world's oldest name in professionally recorded audio has been to this club dressed to the "nines" complete with makeup blue-black hair and leather pants about April of 2006.

Why the fuck did I move to the Midwest from LA where nothing like this exists anywhere? One of the best vids I can find of DB, as well, which is sad since it focuses only on the top floor and only one section of it.

damn this place looks awesome, I'd love to be there. I go to a goth industrial club in Edinburgh frequently but it isn't as big as the place in this video. I'll make sure to check the place out if i by any rare chance find myself in LA anytime soon :P

The song is confirmed as "Brutal" by DJ SiSen, it is not "Baby Needs Coke" by Northborne, even though the songs sound similar. The movie sample recording in "Brutal" is what confirms the song.

I've heard about this place and I so want to go. I will come down to California some time, but waiting to I have all my paperwork in order and such, because I'd like to come down to California to also see family members and friends.

@MusicWeltenSchmerz No, it is rather small...i rarely see a gothic person out and about during the day. But a lot congregate at this club every Friday and there are several other goth/industrial clubs in the Los Angeles and Orange County areas.
Wow, last time I was at DB - Helter Skelter and Kontrol Faktory just vanished (yeah, I aged myself) but they weren't raves... I love GRaving but funny to see at clubs now.

@NarutoUzumaki2142 Yeah, it is definitely "Das". I'm not certain why the club owner chose to use grammatically incorrect word, but nonetheless we are in America, not Germany, and the club is AMAZING regardless :)
Again I have rudimentary understanding, so forgive me if I am wrong, but I believe it is essentially similar to Spanish, where there are different "the"s. As far as I remember, there is masculine and feminine words, and if I remember correctly, it's inconsistent and it's quite randomized "which one's the right one" to go with the word. So in all honesty, it's more like memorization hit-or-miss and there's really no rule for it that I found.

@NikkiHorror2 Das and Der are both the correct translation for "THE" so, Das Bunker is correct.
@NikkiHorror2 its not incorrect. if you use that name for a disco or a club you take it neutrum and so you say "das". it has a special effect in colloquial german.

one or my favorite moments at das bunker was when I pulled up with a girl to meet another girl and ended up leaving with a different girl . juggling 3 girls at a nightclub is not easy .. aww to be young
