Subletting out is more practical for independent garages due to insurance rates for ADAS related repairs. Also it is very difficult to make a profit when a system like that requires constant up fitting every 2-5 years to keep up with vehicle and software changes. Someone else can use the profits to try to make the monthly payments for the next 30 yrs to pay for the equipment.
