    I love the background you didn't create the card with. So pretty! Think I'd add a coffee ring to the upper left corner and the a steaming coffee cup to the lower left. Maybe add a die cut sentiment "warm hugs"

    Kristina, Just a thought, but instead of throwing away those mixtures of embossing glaze, perhaps you could have a jar nearby to pour them all into and then use them on something as a mixture and see what turns out.

    Great cards! Embossing glaze is the best! The mixed powders left over can be thrown into a jar and used for making backgrounds or coloring die cuts, etc. Tim calls it a “party mix” lol. That last card (Boho goodness!) is so grungy I love it! Put some die cut Fall leaves or maybe a tea or coffee cup die cut. Fun! TYFS ❤️🦋💜

    And again I am watching you in the middle of the night 😆. Coincidentally I got myself the tree exact same primary colors. I tried out mixing them and that was amazing, when I am finished editing my video you can see that. I now see I also need the purple shade, what a gorgeous combination! The last card is gorgeous as well, the walnut stain adds gorgeous dimension. I would just add a banner text sentiment in the left top of the card, beautiful! Thanks for this video. I will have a good night sleep now 😅

    Thank you so much for showing these techniques. I have a bunch of the glazes, and haven’t really used them a lot, but now I will. The background that you didn’t make a card out of is beautiful, and it would a be a total shame to cover it up with a greeting. My suggestion would be to do a curved greeting along the stenciled design, and maybe a few rustic embellishments. ❤

  • @odessa8810
    @odessa8810 Год назад

    I am not a fan of watercolor and letting the ink flow down the paper. However, putting the stencil on top and using embossing. Then adding the darker ink around the edges to give it a weathered look! 😮❤🎉 Perfection!😊 Absolutely beautiful card.

      @odessa8810 Год назад

      I did want to suggest a travel sentiment or memories of travel for the card. Maybe a brown cardstock behind it or patterned.

    I agree with Katherine9026 below suggesting saving the powders, at least the ones that go together and won't create mud. The pink and red combo would be great for a lot of things. Maybe separate into warm colors and cool colors and see what happens.

    I know ya said on the card that ya used more than 1 color, ya couldn't put back in the jars. Could ya just have a separate container for the mixed powder to use another time?

    Hi Kristina . Love watching your videos. I noticed your 3rd technique you used an embossing folder that had 3 flowers on it, but then when you coloured and added glaze it wasn't the same background, did I miss something? Also I didn't see you use embossing powder on the backgrounds at all. When using embossing glaze do you not need to use it to prevent it from sticking where you didn't want it to? Thank you ❤

    • @kwernerdesign
      @kwernerdesign Год назад +2

      I was trying out a couple of different folders, but did the glaze on the second. I didn’t use powder tools because I was applying embossing glaze powder over entire surfaces, so it wouldn’t matter as much. :)

    Why didn’t you save the powder and it would make a new color?

    • @kwernerdesign
      @kwernerdesign Год назад

      You can save leftover powder if you want, but there is a LOT of powder in each jar. I didn’t feel the need to save it.
