I see your comments on all the in flames videos I watch lol. You have great tastes in music and in video games as well.. I fucking love Bethesda's games
Mason Sloan Elder Scrolls games will always be my favorite games, not because the games have zero bugs lol, not because the graphics or combat is amazing. It's the fantastic Lore, and the ability to write your own lore for your character. It's a sandbox for the creative mind, and I fuckin love it.
Slayer created death metal, in cooperation with Possessed, Mantas/Death: drumming speed, brutality, lyrics, riffing. All death metal is influenced by Slayer, in particular by Hell Awaits and Reign In Blood.
also his best screaming was in 05 on the used and abused dvd. He still does some good performances now, its just he doesnt sound that great when they are doing a show every 1.5 days.
imo they've changed their style in 'A sense of Purpose' because the old stuff was too hard for other pussies, but i still love the old songs, i have all of their albums and Clayman is one of the best.
Extreme metal is from tharsh, i agree. But i don't think that Slayer was such a big influence of in flames. even though, slayer is the only american metal band that don't sucks now.
in flames got much better since then, that's got much to do with anders but also with peter and björn,and don't tell me they're bad O.ö compare the melodic guitar parts of the albums before and after whoracle, for me they got extremely better!
yea i know, the vocals were actually good then. The guitars sounded a lot better too, the recording quality is kinda crap here though. In Flames should have quit in 2001.
Slayer didn't create Death Metal. First thrash album was kill em all from 1981 and first death metal album was Seven Churches from 1985. Possesed didn't listen to Metallica or Slayer. In Flames listened to Iron Maiden. Big 4 has nothing to Death Metal. First Thrash Metal band was Venom. Even if Death Metal was born from Thrash Metal, the Big 4 didn't create Death Metal.
not awards speak for IF every goddamn band on this planet has some award. What speaks for in flames is their music. I personally like their old stuff better. the new kind of lost the edge. nothing against clean vokals, i like that part, just the musik and vokals together lost something. generally a little bit too clean
She owns enough of preciousness!!!arrgaragaraargg!!!
i love this song
back when they were still good
In Flames We Trust
- Hungary -
I wish there was a better quality video of this song on youtube.
RAINING BLOOOOOOD

The show was in 2000, Clayman tour, but the song it's from the Colony, released in 1998...
SLAYER RESPECT
Awesome!
the raining blood tune fit in just perfect.... jus like f**kin hostile n behind space
They ARE still good =)
that was fucking awesome, what a good time to play raining blood, the true big 4 is Megadeth In Flames Metallica Slayer. Fuck Anthrax

i wish was there :(
@jvt10 They added the raining blood riff to the song in live renditions to tribute to Slayer, obviously.
listening to old in flames makes me sad because I know they will never be that good agian :(
why is raining blood in there lol
A better recording of this song (with the Raining Blood part) is on The Tokyo Showdown for those who may wonder :)

i agree
wow uh Raining blood + bark at the moon solo? this song kicks ass but cmon now
Scorn is from Colony
The solo is from Bark at the moon right?
also his best screaming was in 05 on the used and abused dvd. He still does some good performances now, its just he doesnt sound that great when they are doing a show every 1.5 days.
What does slayer have to do with In Flames?
One band is awesome thrash
The other is awesome Melo-death
This seemed like a good tour
slayer doesn't even begin to touch In Flames
*Slayer Approve*
did jespher right the guitar parts on lunar strain i know he didn't play them but did he write them?
20 years of screaming
Did they have apart of raining blood in there?
at 2:36 i think it sounds like the beging of raining blood
2000

But Used and Abused is missing this song.
where is similarity with scorn and raining blood?
Because he changed his style. He could pull it if he wanted too but he changed his style.

is this song a tribute to raining blood or somthing??
lol yea i heard a bit of raining blood lol
i know lol :P was just sayin..
well I think a sense of propose was a bit heavier tha come clarity
why?
woulda been best too keep the colony or clayman style.
I don't really hate new In Flames. Their latest album kinda sucked imo though.
yea i know, the vocals were actually good then. The guitars sounded a lot better too, the recording quality is kinda crap here though. In Flames should have quit in 2001.
in flames just because curtsey to slayer does not mean that it is motherfuckers

Shut up. I respect new In Flames. He sings on Clayman and on Colony, and I ain't bitching about that?
I have the right to like old In Flames better.

glenn sucked...he did nothing, jesper wrote everything and they had guests make the solos that jesper didnt write
FUCK no. Just no.
