The strands of meat are way too long for lamb, and the backstraps are too expensive for tacos. Most likely pork cooked with lamb cheap cuts for flavor. I know they're doing the same with de chivo, unless you go to a 5 stars dine in restaurant.
Go to the market and price for lamb and goat meat and see for yourself. Fools will be fools, but the educated fools still enjoy the food but knowing the authenticity. @@loriwishman1866
Lamb and goat aren't that expensive beef is more valued in Mexico and you still got a lot of beef tacos in Northern Mexico, lamb is kinda of acquired taste since it has a strong smell
