VHS/DVD/Blu-ray/4K Ultra HD Update for August 27th, 2023

- Over the past couple weeks, I got 6 VHS tapes, 6 DVDs (technically 8 because one is a 3-DVD set), a Blu-ray and a 4K Ultra HD from various places. I also got a few vinyl records recently (and I also have one on the way from Amazon), but I’m going to do a separate update video for those later this week. Anyways, hope you enjoy!

I have the first 3 Final Destination movies on DVD as well.
Asteroid City was the very FIRST PG-13 rated movie to contain brief graphic nudity.

13:59: Speaking of The Equalizer 3, I’ll be seeing that movie on Thursday (its release day) with my uncle and my grandfather.
I have Asteroid City on Blu-ray as well.
I did some research back in 2019 about Showgirls (1995) (although I'm not interested into that movie and all other NC-17 films whatsoever). I realized that one of the actresses from that movie also acted in Face/Off.
I have these following medias:
"Asteroid City" (My copy doesn't come with a slipcase; it doesn't matter however.),
"The Equalizer 2" 2018 DVD (2024 3-Film Collection Reprint, With the original part and the 2nd sequel.), and
"Suicide Kings".
Congrats on getting your first NC-17 movie. My first one was Last Tango in Paris.
I have all the Final Destination movies on Blu-ray, and I really need to watch the Chucky TV series.
Speaking of Micki & Maude, the late Dudley Moore voiced Spin the cartoon globe from National Geographic's Really Wild Animals, which I remember watching when I was a kid.
Showgirls Is Infamous For Being The First NC-17 Movie To Be Released Nationwide In Theaters And Only One To Ever Do So As Of 2023
There was also Henry And June released in 1990 by Universal Pictures that was also rated NC-17 and was released Nationwide

Watched The Equalizer 2 online on Saturday and while it wasn’t as good as the first Equalizer movie but it was still good IMO

I have all of the Final Destination movies on DVD individually (I also have 2 on VHS). Weird that 1 contains a coupon to go see 3 in theaters when 3 is literally in the same box set.

I have both City By The Sea and Suicide Kings on DVD
Even though it a has cult following, I will absolutely not get Showgirls at all. Because I heard very bad things about that movie and it looks so horrible in my opinion, so I’m giving it a pass. And RUclips, please do delete this comment.

@@brandonsmoviecorner1578 You know, The way I Felt about Showgirls is that it was one of two films that led to the Bankruptcy of Carolco Pictures.
Also, for Cutthroat Island it's the film that not only led to Carolco's Bankruptcy But also led to The End of the Pirate Genre until 2003.
And Thank God! It Won A Golden Raspberry Award For Worst Picture!
