    Dr. Chakraborty, Thank you so much for these lessons on sarod and sharing your passion. You are an excellent teacher and your direction is very clear and concise. I can see that there is a lot of production that goes into making these videos, but I can assure you that there is at least one very appreciative student that anxiously awaits the next lesson. A friend came by today when I was practicing. he said something changes in me when I pick up the Sarod and play. I didn't realize how I was feeling was so apparent on the outside. What a beautiful journey. Aloha!

    Thanks for this playing technique. One simple Q's, in this video you have shown till C sharp (taar saptak), what if i go till Ra / Ga (taar saptak), will i use first finger for Sa and then 2nd or 3rd finger for Re / Ga ?

  • @swayammishra1443
    @swayammishra1443 3 года назад

    In playing sa re ga ....
    We have to use finger point or finger nails

  • @ajrahi

    Is it possible to learn the sarode without growing nails? I have very weak nails, but I love to learn the sarode.

    • @GauravKhuranaxy

      I have the same question .. looks like you cannot but what is soft sarod?

    • @dwaipayansarkar7736
      @dwaipayansarkar7736 5 лет назад

      use artificial nails .... paste it with feviquick ..... weak nails is a common problem of many sarod players ; so they always use artificial nails.... you can play a sarod its not hard instrument .....
