@@stephenappiah-kubi4870 Cement is now 93ghc for Ghacem SS. The 80 bags at 59.50ghc was left of from ground floor casting. Our advice is to bulk buy if you can and arrange for it to be collected later when required.

For me this is an overkill solid concrete slap. I may be wrong? Any particular reason for adoption this technology? Or was your decision influenced by the order of the day?
My opinion is that in this simple building you could have adopted ecologically alternative decking technology. Trust me Ghana is not going to get cold as it is in the West. This is not a fallacy so why not build sustainably. In this context lattice girder beams and fired clay hollow blocks decking is more sustainable. You can trap the heat and sound in the hollow and it is cost effective modern building technology. I don't think anyone will drop a bomb on your building that it needs to be fortified with WW2 concrete slab method.
Today the African family must buillt a house to meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
Our ancient ancestors were shining example to the world because they built sustainably. Cheers
