- Can you hear the paddles? It never ends, always rubbing, endless paddle rubbing...Don't know why that guy was full body red spotted like that. I thought that was only something you'd see if you are playing Rao and someone shoots you. I was playing Angel and the guy didn't shoot or hit me so I don't think I should have been able to see that. Oh and I still do not like the way DICE handles occlusion culling ( 10:47 ), it's been this bad going all the way back to BF3.

Also looking for good video title for stealing enemy vehicles or getting enemy players to abondon their vehicles and me taking them for a joy ride, "stealing vehicles" doesn't really seem to do well on YT at least for Battlefield videos.

The problem is, I look at Ravic videos and I start getting the jones to play BF2042 again because you make it look so fun. But I know that when I get back in it, I'll end up going 2-20 and getting all pissed off and ragequitting because I suck so bad. Maybe I should just enjoy it vicariously through you to save my blood pressure. :)

I mean for all the crap releases they put out, DICE always fixes the game at some point. That doesn't excuse them though.

The animation is from landing via parachute however it way beyond it's normal range. Like over 9000 beyond.

@1:38 The only thing I can think of that caused that one person to be red like that is either someone using a Soflam to spot them or being hacked by Rao. Neither of which really makes sense.
Also, best use of a pondhawk that I've seen so far.

Servers have seemed a little wonky lately. Last night the server instance ended unexpectedly and it was so hilarious I wish I had recorded it. It was like The Terminator had appeared. I think it was a Boris (without his shield) and he just walked slow and steady in a straight line. Someone had a Vulcan minigun shooting him and nothing happened. I put rounds in as well at like < 5 metres away with no hitmarkers. Dude didn't turn and look at me, just continued slowly in a straight line through all our gunfire, and walked right through Vulcan and the wall of the building. I was cracking up at this point, went outside around the back, and the guy just kept walking slow and steady. Behind the building was a hill and he basically walked right into it and was swallowed up by it. The last I saw of him was his head as it disappeared into the ground. Looked like he was on an escalator to hell.
Hey Ravic, been watching a while and your videos inspired me to finally buy the game! Been having lots of fun on it so far, but still learning for sure. How are you getting no sway on your Rorsch? (Seen at 4:47). From what I've read you can't hold your breath with this gun. Is it an anti-sway macro or something? Thank you for your help and keep up the great videos! :)

Takes longer to collect since all chat isn't enabled by default so the people likely to react are the same people unaware that they need to turn the option on to speak to the other team.

Rao's trait/special abilities only mention spotting or highlighting for himself. Not for teammates or squadmates.
@@Ravic I have a squadmate that plays Rao and only Rao. If Rao hacks someone and someone from the squad kills that person. The squad sees the squad that hacked person was in for a while. Even if they spawn in, they will spawn spotted for that squad.

How do you drive the vehicles when you have wasd in use for the different mechanics in the vehicles?
Changed the movement keys in vehicles to be the same as infantry.

The player model is "outside of the map" but gets teleported into view on your client, right? But the reason it looks like that could be they just forgot to disable the movement interpolation when they do it? so it doesn't look instant
No I don't think it's related to movement interpolation, if it was that simple they would have fixed it in BF3 as I mentioned in the video description this issue has been in for a long time. The example in the video is a big hint that they are handling it poorly if a player I saw a few seconds ago and is quite close in proximity to me has their player model despawned a few seconds after I stopped seeing them. That is a bit extreme considering the time-frame just to save performance at the cost of what? Not seeing proper player models rendered and who knows what other bugs ( invisible player bug is still present ).

Love this game and all of its quirks. It can be so funny at times. Could it be better? Sure. But it's still fun

the guy at 1:39 was red because your squadmate Rao hacked the guy you killed so players around him get highlighted
Weird, no where in the game does it say hacking infantry as Rao has that effect. Also the first time I've ever seen that in the game while not playing Rao since the only time I've seen it before is as I said in the video description was when playing as Rao and someone did damage to me.
@@Ravic I npticed that too that its mentioned nowhere. But i recently played with a friend who plays Rao and explained that to me. Feel free to do further testing as my info might not be completely right

shop lifting enemy vehicles, or borrowing enemy vehicles. possibly even; enemy's gifting me vehicles. you could even say scamming vehicles off of enemies. I'm trying the realm of possibilities here but something better might come up.
