- Technically this would be the third time I've killed someone with a prox sensor in Battlefield 2042.

This should catch the Random + WTF videos up to the current Season 3 content. Shooting out Pilots will probably be the next one.
Regarding the vehicle player hitbox test it was done on the Season 3 update. Also please understand that in the test the chopper is only going in one direction and not at full speed. It's much worse when going full speed and sideways. If they can't tighten that stuff up so the desync isn't so noticeable then DICE might want to look into reducing the speed at which some vehicles move or I guess increase the muzzle velocity of all weapons across the board.

The problem with the respawn beacons in 2042 is that they don't make any noise. In previous games they all made an audible sound you could hear from a distance. This balanced them out a bit more.
But they aren't a "thing" that needs to be in Battlefield games. They detract from the core elements and design of the game modes for most of the Battlefield games. It's one of those, devs holding the player's hand feature that was added to the recent Battlefield games.

So, there's been some talk about people finally figuring out part of the reason why mouse input feels bad. What's your thoughts? Also the one of the only things I liked about BF1 was the lack of a spawn beacon in its entirety. :)
Battlefield 1 did actually have a spawn beacon on the infiltrator class but yes definitely not enough to impact the game on a couple maps
@@Samsonfs the only thing I ever noticed about that class was the overpowered martinihenry grenade launcher since I barely got to play the Gallipoli DLC after 2019's exodus of players.

In game of 2042 I used the TGM to hit a jet head on and the screen when black indicating a hit but I just phased though the jet instead and the video feed came back on
Happens all the time for me, or the TGM will just become unresponsive or lag, gave up on rocket launchers lmao
It was probably a console player. Unless they slow down they tend to be able to ignore any TGM because it won't register on their lag, netcode, whatever the consoles run that is different than PC. This problem or issue occurs more frequently when a server is full.

Hey Ravic. Did you hear about the recoil input bug/issue a couple RUclipsrs (Enders) and Dice confirmed it. Looks like they may have found the root cause to the input issues people have been complaining about since launch. If not go check out Enders channel.
Not to give the devs too much leniency but he seemed quite harsh with them for not discovering a bug which took players over a year to discover themselves, they have enough known bugs to trawl through as it is. Even then fixing it probably won't have the impact they think it will, the damage has already been done.

I think part of what’s taken them so long is I have a feeling there was a massive restructuring at dice after the failed launch which slowed progress of fixes and i have a feeling they really don’t have a proper QA department like the old days of game development.

Battlefield has been known for this kind of stuff. BF3's underbarrel bug went "undetected" for ages, same with the invincibility bug, hell that game launched with negative acceleration and it was just there for all to feel in the game for a few months. There are two really bad glitches in BF3 that were never fixed even after showing DICE proof. DICE just moved on to BF4 and that one has a few as well that never got addressed. Just be careful out there, hate seems to be used as promotional tool these days.

I've just returned to bf since s3 update and been using Lis' rocket but all I EVER SEE is 20 hit vehicle damage.... fucked if I know how you do it. I'm yet to destroy a vehicle or helicopter haha. Great vid as usual Mr, also love the 2nd pov clips
Lis' rockets against air vehicles that arent Transport Helis one hit kill by design.
They dont do as much damage as i'd like but she also just has infinite rockets on cooldown so it has that downside of low damage

What's nice is here in South Africa, we literally only have like 1 or 2 servers because the community is so small but we just use portal. So we basically have a server browser and the guys who make the portal servers always turn off bots so...iz really nice 🙃

The invisible player (in this case an AI) is interesting. I bought the game the Friday before last and in my second or third game I saw the deployable minigun, unmanned, shooting through a corridor and made me believe it was like a better, shielded sentry device. It wasn't until I got killed by an invisible player with a floating name bar did I realise the game is just buggy as all hell

If it ends up making people not want to play or not stay in a server because they don't want to play against ai/bots doesn't that mean it doesn't work as a "server filling feature"?

Gonna re-install and torture my shitty pre-built PC, Ravic makes the game look fun.
(Looks fun as his game play is buttery smooth while battlefield treats my PC like each frame is hand picked and delivered by mail.)
Careful with your PC. Season 3's update seems to have increased CPU performance on PC to 100% for a lot of people. It was why I was crashing so much during the previous recording event, the CPU load was likely tripping my CPU overclock. So while you'll probably have more performance it might cause other issues having 100% load, although I don't know if everyone on PC experiences it so keep it in mind.

Spawn beacons allow anyone to spawn anywhere in some BS hidey hole even if the other team owns the sector. I hate having to sweep a whole sector of the map because enemies won't stop spawning on an objective my team owns. Either they should be removed or at the very least made more detectable(how about recon can detect them within a large distance).
Beacons are detected by the recon drone and show up on Paik’s scan. They are pretty infrequently used and really the alternative is to move enemy spawns closer to the point which would be more annoying.

jET Physiscs op??the jets in this game is totally trash with the worst physics disigned ever and thats why all pro pilots of previus games dont play this game. The only fun vehicle in this game now is the helis and this why now its very challenging with all these counters against them. Now need skill for a pilot so he can have a decent round.
